4th of July:Fourth Of July 2010 Ideas – While most people think of the 4th of July as a day off of work, and a day to shoot off fireworks, there are other ways that you can celebrate Independence Day and give back to the community while still enjoying yourself. There are many different ways you can show your thanks. If you are looking to do something special to express your gratitude for the USA this Independence Day, you might want to consider the following ideas;
-Send a letter to troops that are serving our country overseas. Many of them will be missing out on the 4th of July this year, and would love to receive a letter from someone back home, thanking them for their service. You could send a letter to someone you know, or seek out one of the many services that allow you to send a letter to someone serving overseas.

-Invite a neighbor to join your celebration this weekend. When people live away from their family and friends, holidays can really be a drag. By extending an invitation to your 4th of July celebration, you will be able to create a lasting bond with that person, who will more than likely appreciate your hospitality.
-Make a donation to a charity. There are literally hundreds of thousands of charities for you to choose from. You can donate to a charity that has something to do with the 4th of July, or you can donate to a random charity of your choice. There are no rules when it comes to helping those less fortunate.
