Al-Arabiya Obama Interview – Barack Obama sat with Hisham Melhem who is a reporter for the Dubai-based station Al Arabiya to talk about the Arab and Muslim world in his very first interview as president . He said:

“I think that you’re making a very important point. And that is that the language we use matters. “We cannot paint with a broad brush a faith as a consequence of the violence that is done in that faith’s name. I cannot respect terrorist organizations that would kill innocent civilians and we will hunt them down. But to the broader Muslim world what we are going to be offering is a hand of friendship.”

The war against radical Islam is not difficult. They want the word of God to rule their nation. Correcting their errors of excess can be done by turning them to their Qur’an; the primary message through the prophet Muhammad is to follow the whole Bible. The US and others are having difficulties because we have not yet decided to follow the word of God in the Bible. Once we do, it will be a simple matter to discuss differences according to what is written and not according to errors passed down through the generations. It is the promise of their holy book and ours. The way is prepared before us.
