THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! Palin scares me and offends me. How dare she wear a polar bear pin on her fashionable attire. If she goes in office I will want to leave the country - thank you for speaking out and being brave. I've worked with women like palin before - they eat your soul up and spit it out to make themselves look good. Pure Evil.

Just to add to the size of government argument, I don't think there has been a presidential administration that has decreased the size of the government since before the Great Depression. Often times, old school Republicans will say that democrats are big government, but the reality is that all politicians are big government. After all, that's more job security for them.

I tried liking Sarah Palin and it lasted about a week. I absolutely believe that she is the popular chick; the one that could always get away with stepping on other people in order to make herself look good. She is apparently excellent at that. She, like Obama, McCain, and Biden, need to be exposed and bashed as much as possible before we can declare her leadership material.

Don't vote for somebody because they seem nice!

Interesting article, but I should point out that Mrs. Kilkenny has fundamental misunderstanding about what it means to be fiscally conservative.

A fiscal conservative focuses on reducing government debt by balancing the budget and making government more efficient. This is accomplished as often by tax increases as it is spending cuts and really has little to do with the absolute size of government. Too often fiscal/economic conservatism is just associated with reduction of government, social programs, taxes, etc.!

I'm a bleeding heart liberal from the Midwest and I could never support Mrs. Palin on principle, but be careful about accepting Mrs. Kilkenny's comments at face value. I don't know that Mrs. Palin has enough experience as an administrator to qualify as a fiscal conservative, but her work in the last 23 months (her term as Alaska's Governor) seems to indicate as much. And don't get me started on Mrs. Kilkenny's supposition that Pro-Labor = Pro-Union; regardless of Mrs. Palin's position, most labor economists would argue that Pro-Labor hasn't meant Pro-Union since the early 1900s.

It's refreshing to read something like this after hearing all of the "propaganda" over the past two weeks. It is clear that Ms. Kilkenny is simply trying to do a citizen's "duty" by setting the record straight because, God knows, neither campaign will be altogether truthful about it. I applaud her for what I can tell is a very honest and sincere attempt to INFORM the people firsthand. Thank you, Anne!

Thank you Anne, this is the kind of candor many Americans have been waiting for. Being an informed voter ought to be the highest priority, particularly when the stakes are so high. It seems very clear that if McCain and Palin get into the White House, the Supreme Court will tip so far right, the U.S.A. will slide to the bottom of the Atlantic. We cannot afford another Republican Administration, we're already well on our way to becoming a third world country. I hope you keep up the good work. Good luck to you and stay out of the jaws of the barracuda!

Thank you Anne for having the guts to stand up to this "pit bull." Her selection wouldn't be so important if McCain wasn't so old with a histoy of cancer. I've always thought that something about her wasn't right, and this sums it up.
I realize that Obama is new to the scene also, b ut he has been in the public eye for the last 2 years, answering all of the questions brought up about him. The Republican party won't even allow her to talk to the media for fear that something bad may come out.

God be with you and your family Anne. Thank you for this email.
