Ariya Jutanukarn The Youngest Player In An LPGA Tour

At barely 11 year old golfer,Ariya Jutanukarn already knows how to make a very big impression.
Ariya has played and won many important tournaments, but her reward for reaching her first LPGA Tour was an ice cream covered in chocolate sauce.

Few days ago at the Honda LPGA Thailand 2007 competition,Jutanukarn has dethroned Michelle Wie and is now recognized as the youngest golfer to compete in a major international tour event both in men’s and women’s categories.
She started golfing when she was five, is unimpressed by the big event and is more than happy to be facing Annika Sorenstam and Paula Creamer after advancing through a qualifying round earlier in the week.
Ariya said:
“A lot of people are watching, there’s a lot of pressure on me but it’s a chance for me to get experience, play with the top players and show people what I can do,”
“I feel very excited, just having the chance to play is amazing — it’s great to make history,”
