The evacuation area includes the offices of The Aspen Times newspaper and Carl’s Pharmacy. Dozens of people are milling around downtown awaiting news about the threat, but so far no explosion has been reported.
Aspen New Year’s Eve fireworks maybe canceled due to the incident.
