Barack Obama Against Town Halls Meetings With John McCain?
Democrat Barack Obama is not really opened to the idea of debating Republican McCain during 10 unfiltered,town-hall style meetings,in the upcoming weeks.Obama is apparently interested in only one and suggested that it should take place on July 4,when most Americans will be busy with other things.The McCain camp was not pleased with the counteroffer and stated:
“A very disappointing response.”
This move is not really surprising,Obama is leading in the polls right now and doesn’t feel the need to share the spotlight with McCain.
