Bear Mauls Teen In Alaska Bike Race.Police in Anchorage,Alaska confirmed that a girl who was participating in a bike race,was attacked by a grizzly bear.She was able to call 911 on her cell phone,but could not talk.A spokeswoman for the Anchorage Fire Department named Cleo Hill,said:
“The local bear expert said it’s probably a sow grizzly.” “One has been sighted in the area recently.”
A biker eventually found the mauled girl at around 1:30 a.m. and called the police.The parents don’t want to communicate on her condition.
