Bill Clinton Hospitalized:President Clinton Taken To Hospital‎ – Bill Clinton was taken to the Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in Manhattan in New York City earlier today after he complained of chest pain.The former President who is being treated for a condition related to a preexisting heart condition had two stents inserted in one of his heart arteries.The 63 year-old former Commander-In-Chief underwent a quadruple bypass surgery in 2004.Clinton’s counselor Douglas Band released the following statement:

“Today President Bill Clinton was admitted to the Columbia Campus of New York Presbyterian Hospital after feeling discomfort in his chest. Following a visit to his cardiologist, he underwent a procedure to place two stents in one of his coronary arteries,” Band said. “President Clinton is in good spirits and will continue to focus on the work of his Foundation and Haiti’s relief and long-term recovery efforts.”

Mr. Clinton recently visited earthquake-shattered Haiti to deliver supplies as well as meet with Haitian leaders and United Nations staff to see what can be done to have the island up and running again.
