Boss’s Day 2010: Happy Boss’s Day Is Saturday

Many people are aware of National Bosses Day but have no idea how to celebrate it. The recession has hit everyone hard, and not everyone can afford to go out and buy a gift for their boss.

Others just think it is tacky to celebrate a holiday that no one else in the office is celebrating. Your boss controls forty or more hours of your week, every week. Are you planning on celebrating National Bosses Day in some way in your office?

If you are going to get them anything, you could go with something small so you do not seem like you are overdoing it. You could also pool money from everyone in your office to get them a bit of a nicer gift.

You could also surprise your boss by doing something remedial that they would normally have to do on Bosses Day. This takes a little bit of the extra load off of their shoulders and ensures that they have a little bit of time to rest on their own holiday.

There are many different ways to celebrate Bosses Day. At the very least, you could send them a wall post on Facebook wishing them a happy Bosses Day.

At least it shows that you acknowledged the holiday. When deciding what to do for your boss, it is important to figure out what they would appreciate the most.
