Boy Decapitated At Six Flags.A 17-year-old from Columbia, S.C. was decapitated at Six Flags over Georgia.The teenager who was on a church outing,entered a restricted area,trying to retrieve his hat.The park spokeswoman Hela Sheth released the following statement:
“We do not know why this person was intent on gaining access to this restricted area.” “Some witnesses have stated that the individual was trying to retrieve something he had lost.” “Others reported that he was trying to touch the ride. This is merely speculation at this point, and we are working with park visitors and local police to learn more.”
She also added:
“Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.”
The 110-foot Batman roller coaster launched in 1997 and already killed a maintenance worker around the same restricted area.
