Oh wait… while I was 17 I made huge mistakes like meth, cocaine,dope, and running from the law… But I grew up and and avoided jail time during all of that. I count my blessings… but had I EVER had a drop of (whispers) “alcohol” , Then I don’t know if I could have made it to be a proud parent and useful part of society.
To all of the posters here…..While you engaged in all of that lewd behavior as a kid I bet your parents were not running for any public office were they. One last thought … If her mother was running for president of the PTA or civic league and all this info surfaced about her child would you vote her in as President of the PTA…….I think not. So if things like this matter for something small like the PT freakin A why shouldn’t it matter for a position where she is not only responsible for our childrens future for the next 4 years but our economy, our laws and our future.

I’d vote for her for president of the PTA and the USA. I doubt seriously that “any” PTA president has never done nothing wrong. Some are dopers, drunks, single parents,devorced, thieves, commit adultry, and liars. This lady is governor of something like 1/3 of the US and doing a good job. Few people believe it takes the whole village to raise a child, like others would know what is best for my or her family. That is called communism. Growing up and living life is not wrong though every choice we make has a 50/50 chance of being wrong. As for her being proud of her daughter; for what? What was the context? Because she decided to not kill the baby, to not be a single parent…? Maybe I just don’t see things right; on the road of life each turn is just the next thing to play out not really good or bad, just the next thing.

Her 17-year-old daughter is out, constantly drinking in front of the camera based on 17 sets of different photographs of her with multiple bottles, getting pregnant and we need to leave her alone, but Palin herself has every right to go after Biden and Obama for being “morally corrupt” for reasons she failed to list?
My parents, bless their soles, taught me to take care of business at home before ever even thinking of poking into the lives and moral stance of others. Sarah Palin failed to do this and that’s why this is being reported, not because “the liberal media” (gotta love those conservative radio views of your either with whoever is leader or you are wrong) is trying to ruin another teens life, but because Palin has made accusations and this reality, these facts display her hypocrisy and inability to manage a family, let alone an entire nation.

Can you provide financial figures to show that? I made about $20,000 a year when Bush came into office and my taxes have never come down. I now make proudly make $32,000 after having chose a passion career, but one thing I can say is my taxes cost me far more now and have not been close to “lower” even factoring changes in income.
I don’t buy the taxes for the poor argument for the rich. In fact, a review showed that the real people who benefited from the Bush tax cuts were those in the $100,000 to $500,000 range. They needed some real help didn’t they?
Also you comments regarding Obama are a bit misguided. The truth, something many Republicans have shuttered to acknowledge in recent weeks, is that a lot of the “programs” that Obama is supposedly going to establish were creations of conservative radio media, including that comment about poverty.

The richest 1% pay 40% of all taxes. Im sure youre a skeptic of trickle down economics, but how many jobs do you think are created by people in the 100-500K demographic versus people like your self? I went to HIS speech, and heard HIM say all these free programs he would create like paying 4K to all college students for 40 hours community service in that year, and ending world poverty, also eliminating our debt just to name a few. there were many more, But he never said HOW he would fund these. how is he gonna pay for all that?? answer me that. yea they sound wonderfull but impossible if you ask me.
I don’t think either candidate is worth electing personally. but then again, I don’t think we will have a good president again anytime soon. It has become too much of a lifestyle then a responsibity IMO.
O, and on the comment about the conservative radio. how many people sit and listen to that as compared to watching the news on TV? only republicans sit and listen to a republican radio show. were everyone will see NBC, or CBS, ABC.. Need I go on. OK the republican’s have Fox news, but the rest are Liberal. And many more people will see that then hear it on the radio.
I personaly would love to see an abolishment of the parties AND lobyists. Or make the loser weather it is the democrate or republican the Vice President and force them to work together.

I have a pretty good life, married, two kids,even a dog and a cat. Good jobs for both my wife and myself. I was also given my first drink and started about the same time at the age of nine if I remember correctly. I do not drink now, by choice and it did not ruin my life. So to all of you people who just have to judge and pass judgement on someone that you really do not even know, piss off and get a life. Leave the girl alone.

I think Palin is only in a couple of other photos, but these are photos of her friends. I suspect Bristol took them, which is probably where the confusion comes from. I think the blonde in the photos is actually Palin’s (ex) boyfriend’s sister, which is creepy in its own right, as they seem awfully “cuddly” for siblings.
Either way, it’s clear underage drinking and underage sex is how Bristol rolls. While illegal (a joke in its own right), it wouldn’t be a big deal if her Holier Than Thou mother didn’t let it happen. Now Sarah Palin tries to paper it over and pretend it was all Bible study, hockey rinks and an Immaculate Conception tossed in on the side. It’s all as fake as something out of Hollywood, a place she condemns for its lack of morals.
People say “Leave the kids out of it.” I agree. POLITICIANS should keep their kids out the spotlight. Trotting your kids around as political props to show how “pro-family” you are or how perfect your family is (and by extension you) is insulting and only puts the kids on the firing line. It should be “Kids? Yeah I got a couple. They’re at home where they belong. This ain’t Take Your Kid To Work Day.”
I went to school with a very prominent politician’s kid. Thankfully, nobody ever dug into his life. Just being constantly dragged around the country as a prop screwed him up.
