Charlie Chaplin Time Traveler: Time Traveler Caught On Film? – An Irish film maker believes that he has seen a time traveller in the Charlie Chaplin DVD ‘The Circus’. Film maker George Clarke claims that he has showed the footage to one hundred people, and none of them have any idea what it could be that he has discovered in the footage. The footage shows what appears to be an elderly woman walking along and talking into a device held to her ear which looks like a mobile phone. Now, keep in mind that ‘The Circus’ was filmed in 1928. Years before mobile phones were even invented.

The clip, which Clarke has posted on YouTube in the hopes of getting some answers, was from the film premier which is an extra on the DVD. Many people have come up with possible answers, but none of them seem to fit. Some are even claiming that the video on YouTube could be a hoax, which is very unlikely.

Some people have said that if it was actually a time traveller, how would they be talking on a mobile phone with no towers to get reception? However, if it was actually a time traveller then it is unlikely that network towers would be an issue! Other people have suggested that it could be a ghost. Whatever the real story is, it is unlikely that we will ever know until somebody comes up with some conclusive answers.
