Christmas Card Is 93 Years Late

A family in Kansas received a Christmas card today that was sent to them 93 years ago.
The card that features a color drawing of Santa Claus and a young girl was dated Dec. 23, 1914, and mailed to Ethel Martin of Oberlin, apparently from her cousins in Alma.Oberlin Postmaster Steve Schultz said:

It’s a mystery where it spent most of the last century, “It’s surprising that it never got thrown away,” . “How someone found it, I don’t know.”

Although Ethel Martin is deceased,Schultz added that the post office wanted to get the card to his relatives.
