Cruise Ship Hit By Wave:Rogue Wave Hits Louis Majesty Cruise Ship – Louis Majesty a Cypriot-owned ship that carries 1,350 passengers and 580 crew members, was hit by a series of 33 feet (10 meters) waves while in the northeast coast of Spain earlier today.The three abnormally high waves killed two passengers while injuring at least 14 others.
The vessel which was on a 12-day cruise from Genoa and made stops at Tangiers, Casablanca, Tenerife, Lanzarote, Cadiz, Cartagena, Barcelona was scheduled to return to Genoa tomorrow.Anna Lita who was harmed by the debris of shattered windows said:
“I thought I would end up in the sea, drowned.”
Another passenger named Giovanni Zanoni explained that it was like being on the Titanic with people screaming, panicking and grabbing life vests.

You need to correct the photo in this post…the ship you are showing is not the Louise Majesty hit by high waves…this is distinctly a cruise ship from the Carnival Cruise lines…showing the very obvious red, blue, and white fin…I know I live in a port, and see this ship approx. 80 times a year!! FYI!!
The Majesty was the bottom of the line of the Norwegian Cruise Line until it was just recently sold to Louis. It has the NCL black stack. I have done 6 cruises on the Majesty.
Looking at the stack one cannot see red, white or blue – only black.
