Dick Cheney Hospitalized

Vice President Dick Cheney was hospitalized for irregular heartbeat earlier today.
Cheney who has a history of heart problems,was taken to George Washington University Hospital to undergo evaluation.The health problem was detected when Cheney saw doctors today at the White House for a lingering cough from a cold.His spokeswoman Megan Mitchell said:
“During examination he was incidentally found to have an irregular heartbeat, which on further testing was determined to be atrial fibrillation, an abnormal rhythm involving the upper chambers of the heart,”
Mitchell also added that if necessary, Dick would be receive cardioversion, which a procedure that involves the delivery of an electric impulse to the heart.
