This is such a bunch of BS. Pres Obama sat in a chuch and listed to this rant about white people for years. Surely some of this hate the white man rubbed off

i dont agree with what he said…BUT who cares he can say and feel however he wants

I hear what he’s saying, but this guy is the exact representation of who we are as people. People say what they feel based upon who they are. He’s saying what he feels because he’s uncomfortable with a black person being in power. It’s easy to point the finger when you are not the target. This shows how so many whites with money and power are irritated when a black man has this kind of power. HE CAN’T STAND IT! OBAMA’S MOM WAS WHITE. HE’S THE RACIST! WHAT HE SAID IS NORMAL TO SAY WITHIN HIS SPHERE OF INFLUENCE BECAUSE, HEY, THEY’RE THE MAJORITY. I’M GLAD HE WAS EXPOSED!!!

And I bet he chanted “AMEN” after every phrase of the rant. Oh, but that’s right, he sat there and associated with Rev. Wright but always disagreed with the controversial comments.

why wasn’t there such a backlash against Kanye West when he said George Bush hates black people?

I support Glenn Beck’s freedom of speech and opinion in the same manner that ColorOfChange supports Jeremiah Wright’s “United States of KKK” comment. Jamie Foxx’s “we shared him (Michael Jackson) with white people”. or even the countless number of rap songs influencing American viewpoints with racial bias. These examples can all justifiably be viewed as “repulsive, divisive, and should not be aired”… but they are. So, count me out of ColorOfChange’s hypocritical, biased, and conveniently selective outlandish claim of an unfair claim.

Glenn Beck is a drunk moron. Typical christian white supremacist. As a litmus test you can determine someone’s stupidity and ignorance by how they feel about Sarah Palin. Glenn loves Sarah.

Racist?
Author is just a raging glennbeckophobe!

This is ridiculous. Why is it that when a white person addresses a race issue they are automatically a “white supremacist” or “racial,” but the same comment coming from a black person against a white is acceptable? George Bush was a bigger man than Obama will ever be. Based on the fact that George Bush was mocked constantly and never threatened anyone’s job because of it.
I don’t care who you supported in the past election or if you are a supporter of Obama or not now. The fact of the matter is that Glenn Beck’s rights are being violated. He is free to say whatever he wants just as Obama is free to say whatever idiotic comment he would like such as “the police acted stupidly” when they arrested Henry Gates because he would not show identification aftering breaking into his home.
If Glenn Beck is fired for his comment than there is officially no justice in our country.

What is the big deal? Have you forgot what Jessie Jackson said about him? But as usual it all depends on who said the comment weather it is a big deal or not. Or should I say what political party you are for.

I agree with everyone on this issue that exposed the double-standard. You’re right , white’s do catch more flack for what they say as opposed to black’s. However , it comes with the territory. No one asked you guy’s[the racially biased one's] to dominate the socio-economic domain , through the questionable action’s of some very historical figure’s and maintain their indecency. Nor is their any other race in America with as seperate an agenda. Plainly stated , you guy’s[the racially biased one's] employed the necessary-evil’s in place that has insured for generation’s you all maintain dominance[except in the prison population] over your earthly brother’s. You may ask why this is relevant to Glenn Beck’s comment. Because his comment is meant to divide and conquer , the same form of rhetoric that “birthed the K.K.K. nation. Teach impressionable minded white’s that other race’s[black's in particular] are a threat to them. Then mobilize the willing follower’s into groups of vigilantes , set on removing the threat before the threat is ever even posed. The result led to an all out war against black’s , administered by their white brotheren and supported by the white masses[and this does not include past , present , or future open-minded white's] , tolerated by the white-led government of time’s past , including sector’s that still exist in some white communities today. That is why it was/is deemed a necessary-evil , because it sought to wipe whole nation’s from the face of the earth[that being racial-characterizing. Today it has been transformed into a cliche , as the K.K.K. now wear's a business suit to work , rather than the hood and gown. Their now your brutal cop's , anti affirmative-action CEO's , worthless inner-city educator's[some not all] , as well as politician’s. From among the teaching’s and communities that birthed these individual’s , Glenn Beck and his philosophy hail’s.

Based on Obamas assumption that the white cop was at fault. The logical conclusion is that he based his assesemant of that situation on his own racism. Therefore he is a racist.
Beck just came to the logical conclusion of “If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck, it must be a duck.”
Rev. Wright is a racist based on his own words. an Jones is a racist based on his words. So why is Obama somehow not a racist, based on his own words and actions?

By the way Mike , their was a backlash after Kanye West made the comment about George Bush hating black people. It just went away over time , probably due to it’s ineffectiveness to sway Kanye into a more tolerable mind state. However , the main reason why is because Kanye’s comment had more reason to be believed than Glenn Beck’s.

So I just googled Glenn Beck and this link came up. I regret watching this youtube video. Guy, instead of trying to act down to earth on the internet, how about watching the whole interview. Beck is alluding to the proposed beer and alcohol tax. Also, please try to have a linear thought not based on emotion because someone is critising the president. The stammering doesn’t help either.

Donald Jr. There is reason behind your thoughts. But, please help me understand how this mentality is going to help us in the future. How is this going to help when black Americans or some other minority group becomes the majority in positions of power in business and/ or politics. Will this mentality then be justifiable for the new minority whites?
Regarding the “all out war” comment against blacks… I don’t see it. Have there been significant and unacceptable issues? Yes, absolutely. But an all-out war? There would have been much more blood on both sides if there were an all out war.
Respectfully, it seems very senseless to me having an “us vs. them” outlook on life. Right is Right and Wrong is Wrong no matter who is in power, no matter who there are more of. Double Standards are Wrong. They do not help us progress as a society… only create unnecessary tensions that retard us from living in peace and harmony.
I come from a place where negros, blancos, and mulatos like me have had a very similar history as Americans over the last 500 years, but there are no racial tensions of this magnitude today. Personally, I’d like to run to Babies-R-Us and buy pacifiers for anyone on either side that justifies their hipocrisy with hipocrisy. “Well, they did it so we should too”. Or “Why does he get the bigger piece of cake?” I can understand that from a 6 year old.

This comment is not racist. Is this the best these guys can come up with to make people hate Beck? He’s on radio 3 hours a day 5 days a week and tv 1 hour a day for 5 days for years and this is all they can come up with? Guess Beck’s not that bad a guy after all. Funny when Back put George Bush through the ringer no body cared. LMAO Just goes to show Liberals have no facts they just make personal attacks that are always baseless anyway.

What’s up Julio. I see your point and respect it however , I’m not trying to seek revenge. I’m only saying that Glenn Beck seems to promote a devisive form of propaganda/rhetoric. It’s like he’s trying to make a rallying call to anyone who will support him. And my comment about an all out war against blacks is well founded , though other races can be included. However , I’m refering mainly to the time between slavery and the civil right’s era. Remember how blacks were treated? We were hung , beaten , mobbed , robbed , burned , shot , drowned , castrated , raped , disenfranchised , unjustly imprisoned , etc. , etc. , etc [all for the color of our skin]. Oh yeah , there was an all out war against us. When you find time look up the murder of Emmitt Till [Warning : Some of the material may not be suitable for people under 13 yrs. of age]. I don’t know if you know this but this kid was a 14 year old African American , and his kidnapper’s/muderer’s were three 30+ year old Caucasian American’s. His crime was allegedly whistling at a white woman [circa 1950's America]. That’s just one of the thousand’s of casualties of the war against us. These martyr’s were guilty of nothing more than being black. That’s why it is hard for us to trust law-enforcement to this day [or the media] , because many times they were actually involved in our mal-treatment. Is it any wonder we represent nearly 40% or more of the prison population , but only 12% of the country. That’s disproportionate , and it’s not by coincident or happen-stance it’s by design. Glenn Beck is using the same old method of times past , that led to us being forced into this position. That method being [it's fair game to defame our character to promote our demise]. PEACE MY BROTHER. P.S. Although the crack epidemic is now on the hand’s of those in our communities it started out as a conspiracy. Wach the episode of “American Gangster” on Freeway Ricky Ross”.

One more thing I’d like to add. I have a white step-mother and two half-white sister’s , plus a few other mulatto family member’s. I attend a predominately white congregation and one of my white brother’s was actually the best man at my wedding. I just thought I’d point that out for those who may try to say that I speak from hate and not experience.

Frasier I have one question for you . What does the fact that Glenn Beck alluded to anything else , have to do with the comment that led to this forum ? You know , the one about “Obama” having deep-seated hate for white people . I know you are taking a cheap-shot at me and I must respond . First off , I don’t have to try to act down to earth , I am down to earth . Secondly , I think the correct term to use would have been “intellectual” . And lastly , I am getting so sick and tired of the dumb-nigger treatment[a ploy used when there is nothing useful to challenge black awareness] . Buddy , you are no smarter than I so miss me with the B.S. Furthermore , if you feel so super[superior] than let me see you fly[super-man] , other than that bring your egotistical opinionated “you know what” back “down to earth” . I mean is that all people can do , take shot’s at black intelligence because you have nothing better to defend yourselves with . That is what I call stupid and I don’t care what race you consider yourself . Try again brother because that method has grown old .
