Doesn’t every moderator support one or the other of the candidate? The only other person who I feel could do a better job would be deceased Tim Russert. He kept silent on his opinions but unfortunately he can’t join us tonight except in spirit. Gwen is mature and intelligent enough to understand her position. I think she can be unbiased and do the job she has been asked to do. If McCain’s camp waited until 2-3 before the debate to find out pertinent info about the moderator and or her style, I do not want to trust the nation’s security to him or Palin. What about the preparation that should have gone forth studying the moderator potential to be fair/unfair? John, you appear lately be a ‘day late and a dollar short’ on vital issues. Are you up to this job? Waiting this late makes you look like an uninformed dummy! Gwen’s book was announced in July. I remember Palin stating, “I read all of ‘em.” I had hoped that meant she read universally popular magazines. Did she even know who Gwen Ifill is? I doubt it seriously. MaCain is a loophole presidential candidate. He is spending the majority of his time waiting for Rush L. or Sean H. to dig up dead bones for him to feed off of. He is in the past. Strangely enough , he is still doing the same tthing today—lying, cheating, deceiving etc. only this time it’s the public rather than his spouse. Get real–Wake up world.
