If you have no defense of your candidate (Obama) bring up another candidate. Just in case you were not aware, there are MORE than 2 candidates running.
You need to get past the Democrat and Republican thing. Both candidates (Obama and McCain) should not be the best our country can present. What they are is what the two parties want to present. Don’t be fooled by primaries. I was involved in politics and believe me the two parties rule with an iron fist (I was involved in both parties so please just trust me on this point). If you get heavily involved in politics you will find out what I am talking about.
What the Democrats and Republicans want us to do is fight among the two parties and forget about the big picture. The big picture is how can we get rid of all the bozos that are in office. Have you noticed how the political positons stay within the families? Why do you think that is?
The voters in this country need to wise up and start voting third party. Lets really get change, not just talking points.

How old was Obama when Ayers was spouting this stuff? Better yet, how old was McCain when he was palling around with the convicted felon, G. Gordon Liddy?

You actually do not have to check your religion on an application to Columbia or Harvard. Oddly, there are very “religious tests” of this kind in America…you see, the founding fathers came from Europe which had experienced a series of devastating wars of religion over the 16th and 17th centuries (the early Americans were British [British Civil War], Dutch [80 Years War] and German [30 Years War]…none of these wars were so pleasant that any of the founding fathers wanted a repeat of them and they specifically worked to ensure that religious tolerance was a centerpiece of the new nation).

Educate yourself before you pontificate mindlessly.
