Health Care Vote Results Today

Health Care Vote/Healthcare Vote Results/Health Care Bill Passed/Healthcare Bill/Healthcare Reform infos and live video update can be found here.Obama health care reform which is considered as one of the most audacious bills in history is voted on this Sunday in the House of Representatives after more than a year of heated debates and protests.
The bill should passed very easily seeing that sources close to Nancy Pelosi and other influential democrats have stated that they have gathered more than 216 votes needed.
The healthcare reform which is constantly challenged by the Republicans and which stands to get 0 vote from them does not provide universal health insurance which is dear to the president, but instead provides an extension of health coverage, from 2014 to 32 million Americans who are currently without insurance.
Seeing that the decisive House vote could define the success or failure of President Barack Obama’s administration, he made sure he did not repeat Bill Clinton’s failed 1993 reform.
That’s all we have for now on Health Care Vote.

WE are going to get this down, thank you Barack, Nancy, and all that voted in favor of this bill. God works in mysterious ways. It took a black man and a white woman to get this done. GOP, be damned. And I am a 57 year old healthy white guy. No labels to affect my thoughts other than, What is Right? We did the right thing.
God bless you John.
Lady what are you thanking the president for if this Health Care bill gets passed, YOU SHOULD BE THANKING ME as I will have to pay more in insurance to pay for the Uninsured…This is CRAP…Get off your own butt and get a job. I pay $ 600.00 a month for my family of 4. I dont need to pay for anyone else….
This bill has nothing to do with what is best for America.
Oboma is all about breaking down America as we know it. Why is this bill so important for Oboma? It will not go into affect for 4 years if it is pasted. It is about breaking down the will of the American people. He has already done it when he was sworn into office and he has been doing it at every opertunity he has had, Yep I agree, it is an opertunity, and those that support it are voting again for change they don’t even understand what is involved in that change.
Fred, is that all you got? Take an English course or something to help you get a message to those around you, other than the grunts and whistles of the tea bag movement.
For those people who believe that if you go to a hospital, they will turn you away because you have NO Health Insurance, I have a Bridge to sell you in Texas. Hospitals must take care of you period…It either comes out of the hospital budget or the doctors budget. We live in Arizona they the illegals are always getting treated in hospitals.
You assume that they don’t have a job, but how could they survive if the didn’t.
Welfare doesn’t give you enough to live on. They already have jobs welfare just bumps them up to the standard of living.
Trust me this huge boom that republicans are talking about next election is going to be short lived if they try to take away health care people will riot in the streets. “You killing my baby is what they’ll say” and they will be. They just won’t be holding the gun, the disease does that for them.
Think of a word, lets say republicans. Now what group would they most compare, yes we can, or no we wont? All in lockstep, like the old nazi parades of the 1930s.
@Shari
Actually that quite wrong. It comes out of the bill the next person with an insurance card has to pay. What happens is that they have to fire people because so many people are already doing this.
You already pay for their healthcare you just don’t know it. What this will do is spread the cost around more instead of just the people that go to that hospital footing the bill for the people who don’t pay.
John, I hope you take that “opertunity” and get an education, and I hope you “pasted” it. See what I mean everyone. These tea baggers have no clue about life, education, and the well being of others. They only listen to glen and that fat dope addict. They call these two leaders. Of what? A republican madras.
Shari, Be real. Those who cant pay at a hospital are DIRECTLY supported by everyone else that does pay. Rates are higher now due to the uneven payment process. With all people paying into insurance, the ones presently paying for those who do not, will now NOT have to support those not paying for medical support. I would like to see all people get a primary doctor and use the Emergency Room for true emergencies, not for a cold, or a pulled muscle. That one thing will reduce overall costs by a ton.
Hey American public…welcome to the great world of military clinics. Haha enjoy! Oh and don’t say “military healthcare is that way because of Bush” actually its because of the adjustments that were made in budgeting because idiots like you like to vote for people with more metaphorical speeches than actual substance and experience. Great job. Well, ill keep voting for candidates with real hope. Seeya at your local ‘clinic’.
Thank God for a democracy!!
@trex….yeah republicans have no care for the well being of others. Oh, is THAT why I choose to serve? Like I said…metaphors don’t have substance. Experience does. And ill tell you (with experience) you’re just gonna LOVE your disgusting visit to what will honestly be a military clinic and haha wait till you pay up.
It’s a sad day for America if this bill becomes law. This is a massive entitlement program that will only benefit a few but will make the vast majority suffer because of it’s enormous costs. Jobs will be lost, per-capita incomes will decline, and our overall standard of living will take a big hit. There ARE some problems with the current system, but the bill that passed today is NOT the solution. America is screwed if this actually becomes law. You will see the unemployment rate remain high for the rest of your lifetime and for those who do have a job, their net wages will fall because employers will pass the costs on to the workers in the form of lower wages, insurance companies will pass their added costs on to the consumers, and on and on. It’s a VERY sad day, that’s for sure. Obama is a piece of crap and so are Pelosi and Reid.
It is passed.
Trex;
Is that all you have to say?
APPLAUSE BRADLEY APPLAUSE, Theres nothing else I could say, you got it.. DOWN PACKED!
Finally, we can join the civilized nations of the world. Now lets work on making what just got passed better.
TennCare is a big help, even though it still takes a lot of legislators a lot of time and work to keep polishing on it. It’s high time the rest of the country gets going on the process. The whole US deserves to move toward basic accessible health care for most everyone, healthcare that can be independent of a specific job.
“The wealth of a nation depends on the health of its population.”
It looks like the Democratic hold outs have been bought off, again. This bill should go to into the federal courts and finally to SCOTUS. There were sooo many deals and exemptions not based on race or sex in this bill just to get it passed that I don’t see how it could stand the light of day in a court of law.
Trex, is this all you can say?
For those who think that only the elite get the coverage. This bill will EXEMPT those who are in Congress, federal government and others from being forced to participate in it. Talk about the elite.
Trex, since you will not say it, I will YES this must be all you have to say, and it was not much.
BTW A person bent on calling other people, places, and things, by names other than what they are are low class and very uneducated.
In 2010 the US Gov. will start shipping retards away. My eyes watered when I thought of losing you. Be strong!! Take your crayons.
This bill is not about heathcare, but about control. It is taking liberty away. What right do the leaders of this country have to tell us we must buy health insurance….or they may put us in jail…sounds more like the soviet union.
For those who think forcing people to help those less fortunate is Christian, think again. The Christian way has NEVER been to force good deeds. We have the choice to do good or not. Its called agency. Look up who was the one who wanted to “destroy the agency of man”. Also where to those who espouse no name calling get off on calling other people names and demeaning those who simply disagree with you?
@Lumkin. Who said the wealth of a nation depends on the health of a nation? Look at Europe and Canada. They have Government mandated health plans. California has more wealth than Canada AND most other European countries. Besides why do we have to be like other nations? WE are the ones that first started representative democracy. WE are the ones that spread it. WE are the ones that defeated socialism and communism. WE are the ones that kept them free in the process. They should be more like us, NOT the other way around.
So all of you who love this bill should volunteer 60 percent of your income no matter what type of income you have towards funding this bill.
If you think its the way to go give your $ your OK with that right?
Just a thought maybe they should work on getting some jobs going before they demand people have and pay for coverage??
And what is that weird mumbling pelosi does in the microphone when being applauded??
REALLY CREEPY
I stand with people in need. I am for health reform.
Please everyone use the post of “Artificial Immigrant” as an example of just how brainwashed humans can become.
If you can’t find her here are some paraphrased highlights:
1) Enabling doctors to treat the sick who don’t have money is against a doctor’s morality…
2) the primary purpose of government is to fight war…
This is what progress, peace on earth and social justice (a Glenn Beck certified communist-nazi word if that makes any sense) is up against- people like this – descendants of those who argued that the price of cotton would go up if slavery was abolished.
We are following in the footsteps of the Roman Empire, devaluation of our currency and running up our debt will bankrupt this country. The health care bill might just be the straw that breaks the back of this once great country.
Then why dont you pay the trillion dollars for covering so few people instead of making just the rich pay for it. Health care is not a right, we have made it easier for people to sit on the rears than to go get a job and work for what they have.
I agree with you, Molly. President Obama grew up dirt poor and knows what it is like to struggle financially. He is trying to help all of us; us paying more taxes won’t help him, so he’s not doing this maliciously. Plus, nobody can predict the future, so who knows the economy is going to suck and doctors won’t be able to do what they’re supposed to do? There will be laws penalizing doctors for doing the wrong thing, so more people (like myself) won’t have appendicitis and have a doctor overlook it because there will be more pressure on doctors to do a good job. Most doctors are currently doctors because they love money anyway. I’ve seen too many uncaring, negligent doctors to want to see our horrible health care system go on as it is.
It’s not that Republicans don’t care; it’s that they don’t trust government and would rather have more money in their own pockets and not pay taxes for things like snow removal, road construction, and people getting old who need their social security checks and Medicare (like your parents or grandparents). I don’t know about you guys, but I’d rather see my grandmother under a roof than on the street starving to death.
Would you all rather keep paying for health insurance so that after you spend several thousand dollars (your deductible), you can be covered? Our current health care system sucks–you have to have several surgeries in a calendar year for it to be worth it. Why not see where this reform goes and then start complaining later if it sucks? Nobody knows for sure how it is going to go anyway. And you can opt out of health care if you hate it so much.
Obama’s Health Care plan smells like 3 days old fish…
Serve it at your own table!
