However, the origins of his DNA have been of some contention. His ideal man, the ‘superman’, was blonde hair, blued eyed, strong and Aryan. Hitler, and many of his colleagues in his ministry weren’t of this stereotype either.
So, what was Adolf Hitler’s heritage? Some conjecture has been around for years of there being a Jewish descendant, and now DNA testing done on relatives of this dictator show this as a fact, as well as finding Berber DNA, which is black North African.
Hitler and his party were vehemently against the Jewish and black Africans. Hitler was known for his contradictory beliefs and insane actions and reactions, such as attacking Russia while in the middle of a war with England.
Hitler’s DNA contained the chromosome called Haplopgroup E1b1b (Y-DNA), which is found in many Berbers and Jews.
“It is most commonly found in the Berbers of Morocco, in Algeria, Libya and Tunisia, as well as among Ashkenazi and Sephardic Jews,” Mr Vermeeren said in the article.

The gene is present in Ashkenazi and Sephardi Jews is an absurd comment. Those people are from a certain part of the world and happen to be Jewish. I’ll bet anything thatalmost all Polish people, Russian people, Romanian people etc. have the same gene. In fact, Pope John probably had the same gene.
So…this illogic flows naturally this way. I am Jewish and I marry a Hindu woman from Pakistan. Does our child carry the Jewish gene? the Hindu Gene or the Pakistan Gene? Is there an American gene, a Catholic gene, a Buddhist gene? Does Richard Gere have the Buddhist gene? The absurdity of the theory is quite evident.
If my grandparents and the grandparents before them who are from Romania were Catholic, did I lose the gene??

Hitler’s paternal grandmother (his father’s mother) worked as a housekeeper for a Jewish family. It was suspected that she was raped (or consented to sex) by the Jewish home owner (or his son) and that Hitler’s father was therefore the son of the Jewish home owner. This DNA result would confirm that Hitler had at least one Jewish grandparent. Hitler himself suspected the rape and ordered that German women would not be allowed to work in Jewish homes (thereby eliminating the risk of more pregnancies by Jewish employers). He also had an investigation of his heritage conducted at that time and destroyed the results.
I believe the article to be portraying factual information, therefore relevant in discussion.

I concur with your observation about the skewed logic of this article, and it does perpetuate the ‘Jewish stereotype’. It also perpetuates the ‘Hitler stereotype’. What difference does the DNA ultimately have in the decisions Hiltler made in his life? DNA sequencing does not prove anything about a persons psyche or how they rationalize decisions. God gave us free will correct? Also who are we to reflect back on the past and make character accusations of someone when we do not understand the situation? Now they killed Saddam Hussaein and it looks like it would take such a viloent person to keep the various factions at bay, he had to rule with an iron fist. The US psyche cannot grasp this paradigm. Banking regulation, hyperinflation, the treaty of Versailles, and pseadoscience all created an ideology in Hiltlers mind, he mearly fought to save his people and way of life. Now he is villified forever but you nor I know what it would be like to have a loaf of bread that costa 100,000 dollars. Maybe we would do something. By the way the Rothschilds still own a huge amount of interest in the federal reserve and are estimated to have holdings of 500 trillion. Maybe Obama should choose them to spread their wealth. Although I agree with your point, it goes without saying that there are individuals who consider themselves to be part of the “Jewish people”, based on parentage, heritage, cultural/ethnic affiliations, ect, who may be atheists, agnostic, or believe in a totally different religion. Although I concur that there is no such thing as a “Jewish gene” there certainly are genes which are shared amongst a majority, or large numbers, of those who are currently part of the Jewish community. For example, Haplopgroup J1 (Y-chromosome) is believed to be that of Aaron (and by extension Moses, Kind David, Jesus, and all others claiming direct descent from Abraham) and about half of those with the last name Cohen (or some variation) belong to that Haplopgroup. Needless to say many other non-Jewish males in the Middle East and elsewhere also belong to this group, possibly because they were a descendant of Abraham (through Ishmael or a Hebrew later on) or more likely that they shared a common ancestor with Abraham somewhere along the line as Haplopgroups remain the same for thousands of years, passing from father to son.
Strictly speaking there is no thing as race, or at least a pure race, as people have been moving around and intermarrying since the beginning of time, and ethno-linguistic boundaries change, merge and disappear all the time. I’m not a geneticist, but to me it appears that when somebody takes a DNA test and is determined to be a member of a certain race or races, it is because they share a good amount of common genes which are fairly exclusive or common in these races.
This finding does not prove that Hitler was Jewish or African. It just shows that he had a gene which is much more common amongst Africans or Jews compared to Aryans in Germany, and adds more weight to the theory that his Paternal Grandfather was Jewish, although many Historians disagree.
I believe they are referring to people whose ancestors are from Israel, as Jewish.

That is a typical article with a lot of european misunderstandings in dealing with the history of African countries, cultures, traditions and espcially “races”. Hitler might have had berber blood in his veins, but that does not mean, that he had ” black blood” from a racially perspective: Berbers are mostly light-skinned espcially in the northern parts of North Africa, some of them are even blondes and have got blue eyes, they are mostly a sub- group of white peoples. Today some of them are mixed with semitic arabes who came as conqueres in the 7th century. We found few very settlements of ” black ” berbers in the southern parts of North Africa, those people always had little contact with Europe during historical times. Berbers are not sub- saharan Africans, like Yorubas and Ashantis who are real black people..

Thanks for the clarification. I am Berber from northern Algeria and it happens that I am whiter than a fairly large proportion of southern Europeans. Unmixed Berbers are definitely not black, some have blue eyes, a majority is auburn. However, being white does not mean necessarily that we look like Europeans, if such a concept of “typical” European does really exist!

From what I have read there are valid reasons why Hitler was or was not a Jew but no one can prove this because we do not have the documents to prove anything. The argument and facts can lead to many conclusions but many theories are based off of racism not sold mutual facts. In my option I believe that it is possible that Hitler was a Jew, but not very beaus in those time Jews kept to them selves. I think it’s unlikely that Hitler’s father’s mother was not raped by a Jew. It’s possible she had intercourse with a Jew and could have as son, but that would cause gossip and an uproar that would be more documented and known by the community. We should have more information on this topic if it was so.

There is all sorts of interesting historical facts concerning Hitler’s mind, genetics, and the overriding occult belief system he had that created the holocaust.
