John McCain Cone Of Silence?:John McCain Broke Cone Of Silence Rule?
John McCain Cone Of Silence?:John McCain Broke Cone Of Silence Rule?-John McCain’s campaign manager Rick Davis is in a fight with NBC News for claiming that the presidential candidate was not in a “cone of silence”and was able to hear all the questions asked to Obama at the Saddlebeck Forum on Faith led by Pastor Rick Warren.
Andrea Mitchell said on “Meet the Press,”yesterday:
The Obama people must feel that he didn’t do quite as well as they might have wanted to in that context, because that — what they’re putting out privately is that McCain may not have been in the cone of silence and may have had some ability to overhear what the questions were to Obama…. He seemed so well-prepared.
To add fuel to the fire ,the New York Times printed the following story and backed up Mitchell’s claim:
Senator John McCain was not in a “cone of silence” on Saturday night while his rival, Senator Barack Obama, was being interviewed at the Saddleback Church in California… The matter is of interest because Mr. McCain, who followed Mr. Obama’s hourlong appearance in the forum, was asked virtually the same questions as Mr. Obama. Mr. McCain’s performance was well received, raising speculation among some viewers, especially supporters of Mr. Obama, that he was not as isolated during the Obama interview as Mr. Warren implied.Mr. Warren, the pastor of Saddleback, had assured the audience while he was interviewing Mr. Obama that “we have safely placed Senator McCain in a cone of silence” and that he could not hear the questions… Interviewed Sunday on CNN, Mr. Warren seemed surprised to learn that Mr. McCain was not in the building during the Obama interview.
John McCain’s campaign manager Rick Davis is not helping neither, because he wrote :
“The fact is that during Senator Obama’s segment at Saddleback last night, Senator McCain was in a motorcade to the event and then held in a green room with no broadcast feed.”
Rumors are flying around saying that seeing that CNN is broadcast over XM radio,Senator McCain heard all the questions in advance.

No broadcast feed? What about Blackberrys & other cell devices that can deliver picture, text, & video?
McCain was late, so he opportunity.
McCain wants to be POTUS so he had motive.
McCain has cheated on wives, school, finances rules, among others so there there is a precedent for moral flexibility.
They each knew the first 2 questions, but after that McCain was out of character because he usually stumbles around & repeats the questions to buy time. His glib replies to sub-part of questions that had not even been asked yet was very suspicious.
It’s not like McCain after 26 years in Washington decides to brush up on the ‘Details’ & overnight learns the art of public speaking that has eluded him all this time. He cheated, fess up mr straight talk express so people can forgive you all the faster & then send you a check.

There is absolutely no evidence that John McCain heard the broadcast while in the motorcade. There were many folks there, including Secret Service.
This is just partisan Dems trying to make up a lie to cover for Barack Obama being a lightweight, and the accusations demonstrate dramatically that Obama lost big time.
