I think that the government should treat those executives as traitors to the country. Tried for Treason and hung by the neck. I’m sorry for thinking this way, but I’ve had my share of problems the government doesn’t bail me out, they demand I pay the tax dollars I never had to begin with. Talk about criminal.I love the country and hate fat cats.

…..irresponsibility like this is going to make America mad! Right now, too many American’s are simply too stressed and over-burdened to care! Again, grass-root American’s get a smack in the face. Poor judgement AIG (Arrogant Idiots Guaranteed!)

Oh, no. We will reward them for their abominable behaviour by giving them another 37.8 Billion.

Please read Ed Liddy’s letter to Paulsen on the matter. He is not lying. It wasn’t a junket for AIG execs, but a top producer event for INDEPENDENT life insurance agents who sell an AIG subsidiary’s life insurance products. They earned it, they are entitled to it, and the money spent was not out of line for the number of people attending — over 100. No AIG corp execs were there. The subsidiary is not in financial trouble, and its assets cannot be seized to cover the parent corp’s new debt.
No, I am not one of them. It is just that there is plenty to get riled up over that is not a lie, and this one is a lie. The thing to fear is getting to the point where people don’t care whether it is a lie.

It sounds like you one of them what gives them the right to spend funds that was given to them by the federal goverment. Do not give america this line of crap about they earned it BS they earned it alright they should all go to prison.

There were 10 execs so that is way more than none and I don’t trust Paulson with anything.

Even if one were to think they earned it for 100 people at over 440k that’s 4400 per person. To go to the spa. For what? So they can forget how they have bent everyone over?

Roy, you’re a complete idiot…I don’t care of it was their grandmothers attending this junket! THAT’S OUR TAX DOLLARS!!! POINT, BLANK, PERIOD! I’m sure we could all use a bail out, and we’re all struggling and yet..they’re paying off the rich? doesn’t make a damn bit of sense to me! and for someone to even suggest supporting what they’ve done is outrageous to me! fine, how about opening up your wallet and bank account to them and let them get their pedis and manis with YOUR money..idiot!

If they are top producers, those assholes can take themselves to the spa with their commission dollars. Those are my tax dollars and the “top producers” have done NOTHING for me. Anyone who defends the junket is a complete moron.

I don’t care if it was an event for independent sales people.

This money is for loans, it is not incentive or reward money. DAMNIT!!!!

WHY THE HELL DIDN’T THE GOV’T PUT SOME OVERSIGHT INTO THIS BEFORE HANDING THE $$$ OVER?!?!?
