Kane Kalas – Kane Kalas star spangled banner video is here.Kane Kalas the son of the late Harry Kalas who was a Hall of fame broadcaster sang the star spangled banner to honor his dad as the Philadelphia Phillies played against San Diego last night.According to the AP:
“After a video tribute, Kalas’ three sons, Todd, Brad and Kane, threw ceremonial pitches to Hall of Fame third baseman Mike Schmidt, John Kruk and Jimmy Rollins. Kane Kalas then sang the national anthem while Rollins held a pair of Kalas’ customary white loafers and Chase Utley held Kalas’ blue sportcoat.”
Kalas who was 73 years old passed away few days ago in the broadcast booth before the Phillies-Nationals game.You can watch the video after the jump.
