Keating Economics:Keatingeconomics.com-John McCain Keating 5 – Barack Obama has launched a website called keatingeconomics.com to focus on John McCain’s involvement in the “Keating 5″ scandal that took place in 1989.The Keating 5 is the name given to a scandal where five Senators(Alan Cranston , Dennis DeConcini ,John Glenn, John McCain ,and Donald W. Riegle ) illegally helped Charles H. Keating, Jr., chairman of the failed Lincoln Savings and Loan Association, where 21,000 senior citizens lost their entire life savings.
A 13-minute video which is a documentary on McCain’s participation in The Keating Five scandal will air on Monday at 12pm EST on keatingeconomics.com.
