Father Returns To Kiss Son Goodbye, Saves Family From Fire
A father returned home to kiss his son and ends up saving his family from their burning house.Kevin Roy revealed that he was pulling out of his driveway yesterday when he realized he had forgotten to kiss his 1-year-old son, Koby.Roy said:
“I just wanted to tell him I loved him before I left,” “I pulled up to the end of the driveway and thought, ‘I want to go in and tell him bye,’ because I normally do. It’s just something I do on a daily basis, so I decided to go back in.”“It’s a complete washout,” “We lost everything we have: furniture, clothing, the baby’s crib. It’s just a mess; everything’s gone.”
His fiancee added:
“I couldn’t even see into his room, and I just grabbed him and ran outside.”
Koby’s first birthday party had been planned for this weekend at the family’s home, which was declared a total loss.
