Lawrence Taylor Arrested – Lawrence Taylor was arrested for third degree rape. Police have said that the alleged victim was a 16 year old runaway who was working as a prostitute. It has been reported that a man had brought the woman to a hotel room that Taylor was staying in, where the athlete reportedly sexually assaulted the young woman against her will. The lady sent a text message to her uncle who called the police with information about where she was located. The man who brought the girl to the hotel room was her pimp, according to reports. The rape charge “involved having intercourse with a minor.”

A second man was also arrested in connection with the alleged third degree rape. Police have charged 36 year old Rasheed Davis with false imprisonment, for holding the girl against her will. He was also charged with endangering the welfare of a child. There were no drugs discovered at the scene, but a bottle of alcohol was present in the hotel room.

Taylor’s third wife, Lynette Taylor, has denied the claims and has said that Taylor was “setup.” She has said that she is skeptical, because of the peculiar timing of the allegations. The charges came just days after A&E released a documentary that featured Taylor. Taylor was also arrested last November for leaving the scene of an accident. He was also arrested multiple times throughout the 1990s for various drug charges and child support crimes.
