Leroy Bragg Charged – Los Angeles authorities have recently come to the conclusion that the number of victims of an alleged pimp could be more than they originally thought. Leroy Bragg was arrested on September 28, and faces criminal charges of trafficking a minor, and solicitation, among other crimes dealing with his abduction of a 13-year-old girl. He is also suspected of kidnapping a 14-year-old girl.
The police captain of Los Angeles, Ann Young, said that they now believe that there could have been numerous interactions with Bragg by many of the young women in Los Angeles. She is urging anyone who was a victim to come forward.
So far Bragg has pleaded not guilty, and is still in jail, where he is being held on a $1.3 million bail. If he is convicted of these charges, he could be sentenced to life in prison under the three strikes law, due to previous burglary charges that he has accrued.
Police found the two latest girls in a hotel room, and they told police officers that they had been kidnapped. They had been locked in the room for multiple days and given drugs, as well as tattooed with Braggs alias in order to identify her as his property.

i cant believe in a media saturated society these girls are stupid enough to fall for these pimps bull****.i think that some of these kids parents should be looked at,like why are they running away.i am educated enough to know that some home situations are worse than the one they are in now,but we still have to ask ourselves”how do we,as a society,find a solution to these and many other problems in our society.america is one of the only counties we see these problems.WHY?because our education system is substandard compared to other countries.

wow its crazy how they can lock a man up behind a kid well should i say a run a way.stuff always happen like this all the time these girls lie to these guys about they age an more.the police will tell these girls to lie on these guys just o make they job easy.this man mite have a family and all that.the system is just tryin to lock a nuther black man up an take him away from his family.i just hope they let this young man go home with his family an live his life.
this man did the crime i know him and his whole family they should check out his peoples places plus the mom has a church with a basement and he used to work for coca cola in downtown la no he needs not to go home but pay for his crime they r still children
You obviously dont know him because nothing of what you said is accurate, his mom doesnt “own” a church, she volunteers there and he worked as a supervisor for Pepsi not coke.
i was a friend of leroy bragg in november and december of 2009 only… he was a cool person to a certain extent. i noticed he described himself as being a pimp because of his so called friends or “associates”. he was easily lured into wut he thought was cool and that was pimping. it hurts me to see him go down this way but thats wut happens when your easily taken advantage of. i did advise him as a friend that he wasnt making the right decisions in wut he was doing out of his home but he is a grown man and he runs his own life. as far as i kno, leroy did not have the power to fully disrespect those young girls besides the pimping itself. im under the impression that leroy was not in this alone.

@ Imamommynow I agree, being that I’ve known him on a personal level for years as well as his family, he simply made a very stupid mistake that cost him his freedom. The sad part is he really isn’t an evil person, these girls were there by choice. the girls were looking for a pimp and being that they are minors he was the only one that would take them, when they got caught they simply did what they felt they had to do to save their asses, and part of that was throwing him under the bus. So sad, I bet he regrets getting involved with these kids.

Wow well I’m glad someones misfortune makes you happy. I’m not saying he isn’t wrong for what he did, but the girls where prostitutes before he even met them and they are obviously troubled. I personally know them and although they are young they look at least 20 years old and they are drug addicts. They chose to move in with him because they enjoyed being there, his house was a party house with neighbors going over to chill, listen to music and smoke all day. There is no way they stayed at his house against their will because the door stayed open all day and the windows to every room were easy to slide open and with no screen so those girls obviously never made an attempt to “escape”.
