Los Angeles Lakers Riots 2010 – Last night the Los Angeles Lakers won their second NBA title in a row by beating the Boston Celtics 83-79 in the seventh game at the Staples Center.
But sadly to say the Lakers 16th coronation became an excuse for numerous fans to damage cars, set fires,go shirtless in the street and vandalized stores.
Despite the fact the police were aware of what was about to take place and had a massive presence in the area the predicable occurred-scattered pockets of violence erupted in neighborhoods near the arena, many car owners have reported that their windows were smashed and 8 people were hospitalized with mono injuries.
The pointless melee lead to over 20 people being arrested late Thursday some for public intoxication, while others were for vandalism and inciting a riot.
Let us hope the big parade celebrating the Lakers’ NBA championship that will begin Monday at 11 a.m. Staples Center traveling south toward USC will go smoothly.

Really Sports should be banned in los angeles. What the hell your team just won the championship so lets go destroy the property of our fellow citizens and fans. It’s not like Laker fans are the only people who do this. This happend in Boston in 2008, Bulls fans used to go crazy when they were winning titles. It’s one of those things, it’s always the minority of fans who do it, they don’t represent the entire fanbase.

I live in Downtown Los Angeles. I saw this happen the last time the LAKERS won. Despite these subhuman yo-yo’s, I am still a LAKERS FAN. It is ALWAYS the same. lower class MEXICANS. All Mexican trash. They do not know how to celebrate. They have no respect for anything (especially themselves). They spread disease, crime, graffiti, trash, drugs, and unwanted babies. I am not saying ALL Mexicans act like this, but certainly ENOUGH to notice right? No one wants these assholes in civilized society..it is a good thing they kill each other so quick (but not quick enough to halt their gigantic birth rate). Stop saying LAKER FANS… people that go to STAPLES and pay top dollar to watch the game aren’t trashing the neighborhood after.People that patronize the nice restaurants and clubs aren’t doing this…THEY HAVE MONEY (and know how to act). It is the Gangster THUG BEANERS and their fat mishapen baby-making machines in swap meet LAKERS jerseys hanging outside (LOSERS) doing this. Locked out of society and the celebration (Again, no one wants these roaches), they feel the need to tear shit up to express themselves. LAPD did a good job chasing THEM out this time, so kudos to them.
