Manuel Benitez:Mark Everett Child Star – Manuel Benitez better known as Mark Everett/Manuel Velasco, Mike Evers who was a child star and later became a fugitive was killed last night. Manuel Benitez /Mark Everett became famous as a kid by landing roles in Highway to Heaven, Trapper John MD ,Pee Wee’s Big Adventure and Stand and Deliver.
But Benitez has been on the run since 2004 for the murder of his girlfriend Stephanie Spears in Hawthorne and he was also featured on America’s Most Wanted.Mark Everett was holding his son Benjamin who is 7 years old hostage when he was killed during a police standoff in a Chinese restaurant in an El Monte strip mall last night.
