Mariah Phillips Pictures:Mariah Phillips Photos – Here are few pictures of Mariah Phillips who is the daughter of Captain Richard Phillips.Captain Richard Phillips who was captured and held hostage by Somalian pirates was reunited with Mariah and his wife Andrea, his mother Virginia and his son, Daniel earlier today in Vermont.Mariah Phillips who is an 18-year-old Castleton State College graphic design student told The Spartan:
“My dad would always tell me and my brother about pirate activities.I knew they were out there in small boats. I just never thought they could overtake a 780-foot cargo boat. I was in a state of shock.This is something that happens to other people. Obviously, I am other people.It’s remarkable.You never know how strong your family can be when something like this happens.”
Castleton’s President Dave Wolk said the following about Mariah:
“Like her dad, she is courageous.”
