Matt Damon Palin Diss:Damon Slams Sarah Palin
Matt Damon Palin Diss:Damon Slams Sarah Palin – Matt Damon just talked about Sarah Palin to The Associated Press, where he compared the possibility of her being President to a ‘really bad Disney movie’.Damon said:
“I think there’s a really good chance Sarah Palin could become president, and I think that’s a really scary thing… I don’t know anything about her and in eight weeks, I don’t think I’m going to know anything about her. I know that she was a mayor of a really, really small town and she’s the governor for Alaska for less than two years. I just don’t understand. I think the pick was made for political purposes… Do the actuary tables and there’s a one out of three chance, if not more, that [John] McCain doesn’t survive his first term and it’ll be President Palin… It’s like a really bad Disney movie. The hockey mom, you know, ‘oh, I’m just a hockey mom’… and she’s facing down President Putin (of Russia)… It’s totally absurd… it’s a really terrifying possibility.”
Matt Damon: Sarah Palin is “Totally Absurd”

If anyone values Matt Damon’s opinion then they are are intellectually bankrupt.
He attacks Palin’s competency by making fun of her self described “hockeymom” addage. I have news for Matt Damon, he is simply not qualified to offer an opinion on the Chief Executive/Vice Chief Executive of this great nation. He’s barely qualified to make movies. In fact, his movies are clearly not of the caliber of a real actor like John Voight. John Voight, Charlton Heston, and actors/actresses of their tremendous talent and professional ability have always responded in kind to the natural selection of genuine talent like Sarah Louise Heath Palin. Matt Damon will be very sad to know that after President John Sidney McCain III fulfills his duty to this nation, President Palin will serve as our first female President.

Spoken like a Hollywood “expert”. I love it when these guys sound off…..It totally confirms my belief that I need to vote totally opposite of what they think/. This fool is not afraid of Obama. What do dinosaurs and nuclear codes have in common???????? What a foolish, foolish man. NOBODY is listening to Hollywood any more. We’ve got your number, and you are a empty, silly, superficial people. NOBODY CARES WHAT YOU THINK!!!! However, please keep spouting off….it help McCain/Palin. Loving it!
A member of the middle class….I’m not rich, but I am smart, and I DO pay attention! So just keep talking Hollywood; it pisses me off, and I will be voting!!!!

Matt Damon says if you look up the actuarial tables there is a one in three chance that McCain will die within the next four years.
Damon then invites us to “do the actuarial tables”.
Well, I did…and Damon is off…WAY off.
The actuarial tables supplied by the U.S. government indicate a one in seven chance, NOT a one in three chance.
Take a look at ssa.gov/OACT/STATS/table4c6.html
If you add up the four years for males from ages 72 to 75 you get 0.151985 which translates to about 1/7th or one in 7.

You forget to take in to account the amount of stress being president can make. If you look at Bush at the beginning of his term then compare him to the end he has aged significantly… even if you only compare him for his first term. McCain has a very significant chance of kicking off during presidency and even if he doesn’t he is still susceptible to Alzheimer’s, Dementia, etc. Plus other physical problems like a broken hip or heart attack/stroke.
Who said he was a hollywood expert? It’s the media that is playing him up like a “Hollywood expert”. If your media (No doubt FOX) didn’t play him over and over on the new/television networks then Matt Damon is simply another American sharing his beliefs and opinions about this election… something that this country was founded upon. You’re a turncoat if you think Matt Damon should be reprimended because he is expressing his… and many others beliefs.
Solyd_Truth
Matt Damon attended Harvard University… Did you?
He formed his opinion based on many truths known about Palin.
She is an idiot Fundemental Christian. Matt Damon, like myself, realized that someone with such a corrupt moral code and biased faith ridden set of beliefs should not have the power to decide someone else’s lives.
Palin will only ruin help ruin not only our country, but many… MANY others.
I’m going to Canada.

Glad to see you yahoo’s are dissing him for his opinion. Boy I tell you. You right-wing idiots get all bent out of shape as soon as someone says they don’t like “I’m a bull-dog(pig) with lipstick on” Palin. What has she done to deserve being granted this untouchable status?? This isn’t a sexist comment ’cause I believe Hillary would have made a fine President, she just got beat by a better candidate. As for Palin, hope she enjoys those earmarks she’s been getting in Alaska because she’s gonna be back there for a long time as a has-been Governor.

How anyone can consider Putting Ms. Palin in a position of power given her vindictive policies and activities while governor/mayor is beyond me. This behavior was the major problem in the Bush-Cheney administration. She supports book banning, Alaskan secession, pork-barrel projects (until someone finds out). I’m appalled. That Matt Damon gets to sound off about her is fine with me; nobody’s put my opinion on TV, but he can have my proxy as he seems to be saying it the way I would.

Seriously, what is it about celebs that putatively makes them EVEN less qualified than others? It’s just too easy (not to mention vapid) to dismiss these people. Never mind that in a democracy everyone is, theoretically, equally qualified to comment, this guy is formally educated besides (yes, we all know where). Maybe he’s genuinely concerned that this would-be VP only met once with McCain before being chosen; maybe he’s keying into the fact that her folksy winning appeal in Alaska doesn’t tell us how she’d perform in international diplomatic circles (Obama HAS traveled extensively, and HAS met with MANY foreign leaders); maybe he’s concerned that she appears to have vindictively used her power to remove those not sharing her views.
But seriously, where does this mystifying nonsense about ‘better’ actors having arcane knowledge of political talent come from? And, oout of curiosity, does knowing the candidates’ middles names make your case stronger? Weird.

It’s a wonder to me that any part of “Hollywood” has not remembered what happened to the Dixie Chicks and their opinion. Yes- they got their Grammies, but it’s funny that is all they got for opening their mouths. I am pretty sure at this time they are not even a band anymore. “Hollywood” needs to remember who gives them popularity and who takes it away. I think it is the…..PUBLIC! I find it funny that most of the media and “Hollywood” are comparing Sen. Obama and Gov. Palin. I am pretty sure Sen. Obama is running for President and Gov. Palin is Sen. McCain’s running mate. Why are are we comparing the experience of both Sen. McCain and Sen. Obama. I’ll tell you why….. because we ALL know that Sen. McCain’s experience would win hands down! I think “Hollywood” doesn’t care about any causes, but like to put their voice out there because they know if they get any type of negative attention, their price per movie GOES UP!!! I love the fact that most the Democrats feel they won’t be affected by the Proposed Tax Changes below. Let’s face we ALL will! Taking a look at this proposal you should all asking yourselves-How could we all not be affected by this plan?” The amount Sen. Obama needs has to come from some where and I feel EVERY ONE will be affected!
This was checked out on line with Google, and they showed all the articles on this subject….
Read very carefully, it is your future.
If you want ‘CHANGE’ this will do it.
Pass this one to your voting friends – of all political parties.
CAPITAL GAINS TAX
MCCAIN
Current 0% on home sales up to $500,000 per home (couples)
McCain does not propose any change in income tax on existing home sales
OBAMA
28% on profit from ALL home sales
How does this affect you?
If you sell your home and make a profit, you will pay 28% taxes on.your profit (Capital Gain)
If you are planning to retire and would like to down-size your home or move into a retirement community
28% of the money you make (CAPITAL GAIN) from your home will go to taxes.
This proposal will adversely affect retiring couples who are counting on the income (CAPITAL GAIN that is currently exempt from income tax)
from their home as part of their retirement income.
DIVIDEND TAX
MCCAIN
15% (no change)
OBAMA
39.6%
How will this affect you?
If you have any money invested in stock market, IRA, mutual funds,
college funds, life insurance, retirement accounts, or anything that pays
or reinvests dividends, you will now be paying nearly 40% of the money
earned on taxes if Obama become president.
The experts predict that ‘higher tax rates on dividends and capital gains
would crash the stock market yet do absolutely nothing to cut the deficit.
INCOME TAX
MCCAIN (no changes)
Single making 30K – tax $4,500
Single making 50K – tax $12,500
Single making 75K – tax $18,750
Married making 60K- tax $9,000
Married making 75K – tax $18,750
Married making 125K – tax $31,250
OBAMA
Reversion to pre-Bush tax cuts ? (CLINTON TAX INCREASES WOULD BE REINSTATED)
Single making 30K – tax $8,400
Single making 50K – tax $14,000
Single making 75K – tax $23,250
Married making 60K – tax $16,800
Married making 75K – tax $21,000
Married making 125K – tax $38,750
Under Obama your taxes will more than double!
How does this affect you? No explanation needed.
This is pretty straight forward.
INHERITANCE TAX
MCCAIN 0% (No change, Bush repealed this tax)
OBAMA Restore the inheritance tax
How does this affect you? Many families have lost businesses,
farms, ranches, and homes that have been in their families
for generations because they could not afford the inheritance tax.
Those willing their assets to loved ones will not only lose them to these taxes.
NEW TAXES BEING PROPOSED BY OBAMA
* New government taxes proposed on homes that are more than 2400 square feet
* New gasoline taxes (as if gas weren’t high enough already)
* New taxes on natural resources consumption (heating gas, water, electricity)
* New taxes on retirement accounts and last but not least….
* New taxes to pay for socialized medicine so we can receive the same level of medical care as other third-world countries!!!
So we as Americans should pay for everyone else as USUAL!
GO MCCAIN/PALIN 2008

Matt,
Please understand that most Americans don’t care what you think. We actually want to get to place and a time when you’re comments are not aired…..Because why would they be aired???
But it’s great that you made your comments and they decided to publish them……it only goes to strengthen Palin and Weaken Obama…..
Palin as VP would have more experience than Obama……and what do we really know about Obama at this stage????
We know that he’s a 20 yr member of an Anti-American church. WHY DOESN’T THAT GET FLESHED OUT A BIT MORE?????
And frankly I would feel Much more comfortable with a Palin/McCain in control of the “Nuclear Codes”

I just want the media to use his middle name(Hussain). He is a muslim not a christian. He wants to talk with the terrorist. Negociate with rogue states, and let the UN run everything. I say Barack Hussain Obama and Biden Laden his running mate might as well go to the taliban and say where can we help out.

And as far as all you Sodom and Gomorrah Dem’s go. Go over to France I hear they like gay and lesie there. This is not going to be another San Francisco. American people want traditional family values. You liberals just want to run a muck everywhere with no accountability. Barack Hussein Obama is just a follower in McCain’s footsteps. And the media just focuses on the bad to make it look like things are worse than they really are. The far left media like msnbc, cnn, new york times, Washington post, they need to go back to school and learn what real reporting is.

Hey Saddam Barack Hussein Obama why don’t you give some of that money you’ve been taking from the American people and help out some of it to the hurricane victims. You don’t have a problem breaking your promise of public funds of $85,000,000.00. No you would rather take money from the American people for a lot more than that. Lets see 44mill. last month. 66million this month I’m sure the red cross could of used those donation more than your campaign. Thief. I want to know what you’ll tell the people of Louisiana, Texas,Mississippi
After you spent something over a 100 million on this election. At least we know where your real priorities lye, it’s all about Barack Hussein Obama.

Look at the relationship of Palin with Pastor Muthee. Muthee boasts of persecuting a woman he labeled as a witch and advocates christian violence to further gods work. He also laid hands on Palin and Palin credits him with praying her into the governors office. Are you really paying attention Mignon?
