National Council For A New America
National Council For A New America – Members of the shrinking Republican Party have created an initiative, called the National Council for a New America in order to give the party a new face and get fresh ideas. The National Council for a New America is composed of John McCain,Jeb Bush,Mississippi Gov. Haley Barbour,Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal,Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney and South Dakota Sen. John Thune. Here is a letter announcing the new effort:
“However, this is not a Republican-only forum,” “While we will be guided by our principles of freedom and security, we will seek to include more than just our ideas.
“This forum will include a wide open policy debate that every American can feel free to participate in,” the announcement letter reads. “We do this not just to offer an alternative point of view or to be disagreeable. Instead, we want to ask the American people what their hopes and dreams are. Since January, the President and the Democratic Majority in Congress have – rightfully so – put forward their plan for the future, now we must listen, learn and lead through an honest, open conversation with the American people that will result in building policy proposals that will yield the best results for our nation’s long-term success.”
The first meeting of the National Council for a New America is planned this Saturday in Arlington Virginia.
That’s all we have for now on National Council For A New America.

If the Republican Party would just stand by their principles and not try to pacify special interest groups that make a lot of noise, they would have the support they need to sweep the nation. The problem lies in certain members inability to stick by conservative principles. Certain members drift to the left, most likely because they are not true conservatives. The people see this insidious drifting and they throw their hands up in frustration. After a while, you just get disgusted.
Republicans, in my humble opinion, lack the courage and discipline for the long haul. They give up and give in too easily.

Please read my lips… Only Sarah Palin can forge a unity among the majority of the republicans and social conservatives. Senator McCain still cannot accept the reality. It was Sarah Palin who gathered more votes than him. If Sarah Palin was not on a ticket, It would have been a big landslide for BHO. If the GOP wants to win back the whitehouse, they have to rally 100% behind Sarah Palin, the great governor of Alaska. Sarah is a new voice and a TRUE LEADER who can stand by on her conservative principles, win or lose….
