Obama Dog:Portugese Water Dog Bo – President Obama has kept another campaign promise by giving his daughters, 10-year-old Malia and 7-year-old Sasha,a 6-month-old Portuguese water dog.
The dog is a gift from Sen. Edward M. Kennedy and the girls have named it Bo because first lady Michelle Obama’s late father was nicknamed Diddley and liked the singer “Bo” Diddley.
