Obama Will Lose Re-Election In 2012: 51 Percent In New Poll

In a recent poll by the CNN/Opinion Research Corporation about 51 percent of the people questioned, stated they believed that President Obama would lose a 2012 re-election bid. The same poll revealed that about 46 percent expect him to win re-election.
The poll also sheds light on earlier such polls that turned out to be wrong. Such polls had found the majority of pollsters expected then presidents to lose re-election but the opposite occurred, in particular Bill Clinton who did win re-election in spite of what the polls stated.
The polls says that 26 percent of the registered voters are expected to vote for Obama in 2012. It also shows that an additional 23 percent should be expected to vote for him, however 35 percent are said to not vote for him and a final 16 percent said that they do not know.
The poll also focused on front-running Republicans and that came out with Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee topping the list of favorites at 21 percent and controversial former Alaska Governor Sara Palin not too far behind Huckabee at 21 percent.
