Lucy Vodden ‘Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds’ Dead – Lucy Vodden aka Lucy O’Donnell passed away today.Lucy Vodden who suffered from lupus was the inspiration for the Beatles’ song “Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds,” off their “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band” album.

William Safire Dead:Bill Safire Dies – William Safire (Saffire), 79 a Conservative political columnist for the New York Times died today.The libertarian conservative said this about his job at the reputed liberal newspaper:
“I was hired to be a sore thumb.”
While leaving the paper in 2005,he told the Washington Post:
“It’s time to leave when you’re still hitting the long ball and have something else you want to do.”

Michael Moore Capitalism A Love Story – “Capitalism: A Love Story” is a new movie/documentary by Michael Moore which focuses on the current economic crisis,Wall Street’s meltdown,the endless bailouts and the foreclosures that are hitting so many families that will be in Theaters Oct. 2nd.Michael Moore said about “Capitalism: A Love Story” :
“It’s a crime story. But it’s also a war story about class warfare. And a vampire movie, with the upper 1 percent feeding off the rest of us. And, of course, it’s also a love story. Only it’s about an abusive relationship.
“It’s not about an individual, like Roger Smith, or a corporation, or even an issue, like health care. This is the big enchilada. This is about the thing that dominates all our lives — the economy. I made this movie as if it was going to be the last movie I was allowed to make.
“It’s a comedy.”

Joe Dado:Joseph Dado Penn State Dead – Joe Dado/Joseph Dado who was a freshman at Penn State was discovered dead in a stairwell between Steidle and Deike,which are two buildings located on the Pennsylvania State University campus earlier today.Joe Dado was apparently drunk on Sunday after a party at Phi Gamma Delta which caused him to lose balance and fall 15 feet to his death near a mechanical room outside Hosler building.
