Paul Krugman:Paul Krugman Nobel Prize Economics - Paul Krugman is the winner of the Economics Nobel Prize.Paul Krugman who is a Princeton University professor and a columnist for the New York Times was awarded the Nobel prize in economics for his theories on how urbanization can affect trade patterns.According to Krugman’s research,combining economies of scale with lower transportation costs, helps to explain why larger shares of the world’s population live in cities and why economic activity is concentrated in metropolitan areas. Paul Krugman recently blasted John McCain and praised Obama by saying:

“We’ve known for a long time, of course, that Mr. McCain doesn’t know much about economics — he’s said so himself, although he’s also denied having said it.” “That wouldn’t matter much if he had good taste in advisers — but he doesn’t.”

He added:

“But both Mr. Obama and the congressional Democrats are surrounded by very knowledgeable, clear-headed advisers, with experienced crisis managers like Paul Volcker and Robert Rubin always close at hand.”
