1. First Presidential Debate:
– Date: September 26 – Site: University of Mississippi – Topic: Foreign Policy & National Security – Moderator: Jim Lehrer – Staging: Podium debate – Answer Format: The debate will be broken into nine, 9-minute segments. The moderator will introduce a topic and allow each candidate 2 minutes to comment. After these initial answers, the moderator will facilitate an open discussion of the topic for the remaining 5 minutes, ensuring that both candidates receive an equal amount of time to comment
2. Vice Presidential Debate:
– Date: October 2nd – Site: Washington University (St. Louis) – Moderator: Gwen Ifill – Staging/Answer Format: To be resolved after both parties’ Vice Presidential nominees are selected.
3. Second Presidential Debate:
– Date: October 7 – Site: Belmont University – Moderator: Tom Brokaw – Staging: Town Hall debate – Format: The moderator will call on members of the audience (and draw questions from the internet). Each candidate will have 2 minutes to respond to each question. Following those initial answers, the moderator will invite the candidates to respond to the previous answers, for a total of 1 minute, ensuring that both candidates receive an equal amount of time to comment. In the spirit of the Town Hall, all questions will come from the audience (or internet), and not the moderator.
4. Third Presidential Debate:
– Date: October 15 – Site: Hofstra University – Topic: Domestic and Economic policy – Moderator: Bob Schieffer – Staging: Candidates will be seated at a table – Answer Format: Same as First Presidential Debate – Closing Statements: At the end of this debate (only) each candidate shall have the opportunity for a 90 second closing statement.
All four debates will begin at 9pm ET, and last for 90 minutes and will be broadcast on CBS, NBC, ABC, and FOX, CNN, MSNBC, Fox News, and C-SPAN.

that Obama was not talking baout Palin with

* If you spend 3 years as a brilliant community organizer, become the first black President of the Harvard Law Review, create a voter registration drive that registers 150,000 new voters, spend 12 years as a Constitutional Law professor, spend 8 years as aState Senator representing a district with over 750,000 people, become chairman of the state Senate’s Health and Human Services committee, spend 4 years in the United States Senaterepresenting a state of 13 million people while sponsoring 131 bills and serving on the Foreign Affairs, Environment and Public Works and Veteran’s Affairs committees, you don’t have any real leadership experience.
* If your total resume is: local weather girl, 4 years on the city council and 6 years as the mayor of a town with less than 7,000 people, 20 months as the governor of a state with only 650,000 people, then you’re qualified to become the country’s second highest ranking executive.
* If you have been married to the same woman for 19 years while raising 2 daughters, all within Protestant churches, you’re not a real Christian.
* If you cheated on your first wife with a rich heiress, and left your disfigured wife and married the heiress the next month, you’re a Christian.

We had great presidents that managed just fine in office before EMAIL was born. There is a good reason that he has quite a problem operating a computer but I’m sure you would not understand that… that would be outside your character range!

Confused you are an ignorant idiot. Those who truly don’t like Obama dislike those who stand behind him. Those are the ones who block real laws from signing that would bring the true fabric of this country back. Barack does spin anything he can. Look up the facts for yourself. Executive decisions are not made in the senate, therefore only one of the four has executive experience, and population is not a determining factor in experience. McCain is no Washington, Lincoln or Reagan but he realy does care and puts what he thinks is right for our nation first. As a side note, McCain was in Baghdad four times while I was there, standing next to detained terrorists, not drawing a roadmap for the Presidency and avoiding his job.

Pundits say that bringing up Obama’s past associations is unfair because it’s just guilt by association. I call it guilt by saturation. Willim Ayers, Reverend Wright, Father Phlager,and Louis Farakan (forgive me my spelling) all still support and endorse Obama. What does that tell you? It tells me that these creeps support Obama because he thinks and behaves like they do, and they know he’s their man. After McCain’s passionate RNC speech, I was seriously considering casting my vote for him. But that changed in the coming days for the following reasons:
- the guy talks about real change and integrity, but the way he is conducting his campaign shows neither. Seems he would rather lose his integrity than the election. Of course, the dems also stretch the truth in their ads, but the level to which McCain has stooped is disgusting. He has to know that it is a lie, but he “approves the message” to sway the minds of too-busy-with-life voters who don’t have the time to research the claims behind the political ads. This speaks volumnes in my opinion of what McCain thinks of the average American.
– some of his views and ideas are simply moronic. Gas-tax holiday? Wtf!! Either this is political pandering of the lowest kind to get the votes of the struggling Americans, or he is a complete idiot when it comes to economy. I am afraid it may be both.

Notice how every action u list is in the past; ever hear of “wiser for the experience”? Furthermore obama has admitted to these actions in his memoirs and interviews. Now, u prefer someone who is honest or a hypocrite? (e.g. McCain talks so much about his Christian values, but I guess infidelity is ok in christainity; u can also check-out John Stewart’s “McCain vs McCain” on youtube).

What was I thinking to base my opinion about Obama based upon his very disturbing past exploits. We should immediately release everyone from our prisons since technically everything they did wrong is “in the past”, and I’m sure they’re now “wiser for the experience”. I should only base my opinion of Obama by what he says this very day, even though it’s different than yesterday, and still different than what he said the day befor that. I’m also a little concerned about how I can accurately assess people if I can’t consider their past actions, speaches, writings, and the type of people they surround themselves with. Hey, you’re a brainiac, any suggestions?

It may be so that certain hate groups might support him, but the KKK supports John McCain…does that mean John McCain associates with the KKK? Hardly.
That person you’re responsing to didn’t even bring up the race/religion “card” so to speak. S/he mentioned where both candiates were from and pointed out how enormously criticized Barrack is compared to Palin, even though she and her family are complete, obvious hypocrites.
You are drawing the conclusion that since Barrack is well-eduated, he is a snob. Since when is it a bad quality to be well-educated? I’ve also heard the argument “because he is a good speaker, he has no substance.” Which also does not make any sense.
As a city mayor and governor, Palin oversaw less people than Barrack did as community organizer. In addition, for how little she seems to know about politics, “only #2″ is a scary way to put it.
McCain is one of the architects of our economy, resulting in the terrible state our country is in! 90% of the time, McCain’s votes agreed with Bush’s. Look where that has lead this country. John McCain is clearly not fit to lead this country.
Both Palin’s and Barrack’s personal history relate to most Americans. John McCain’s silver spoon-fed way of life, on the other hand, makes him very isolated from reality of life for the majority of Americans.

William Ayers is an admitted terrorist and is good buddies with Obama, the relationship is well documented.
As a community organizer Obama didn’t actually oversee anyone. He worked with Acorn, a disreputable organization that is currently under investigation in many states for fraudulent voter registration. It is also a shake down group. Obama was a third seat attorney in a class action lawsuit against Citibank for not giving out more high risk mortgages to low income individuals, citing the CRA “Community reinvestment act” as their argument. The CRA has been championed and defended by Obama, Barney Frank, Maxine Waters, and other ultra liberal social engineers. There have been attempts By Bush and McCain to reign in and regulate Fannie Mae and Freddy Mac because they saw the storm clouds gathering, but Barney Frank, Maxine Waters, and others shot those attempts down claiming that it would slow down the distribution of sub-prime home loans to low income high risk people. When the bubble burst, that was the principle cause for the mess we’re now in. It is a bit more complicated than what I’ve just described, but essentially, Obama was an advocate (and the largest recipient of campaign funds) of Fannie Mae and Freddy Mac (run by the corrupt Franklin Raines, another one of Obama’s buddies), and as such Obama is more of an architect for the current economic dissaster than McCain, who recognized the looming problem several years ago and tried to prevent it.
The sermons of Rev. Wright and Fr. Flager are saturated with racism, hatred, ridicule, malicious lies (white people created AIDS to exterminate black people? AIDS actually came into existence more than 100 years ago), and violence. If you try to spin it any other way you’re demented.
McCain served our country for years in the military (we all know his record), an organization comprised of millions of men and women from ALL walks of life, hardly isolation from the reality of the lives of Americans.
Obama did sponsor and vote for a bill that would required comprehensive sex ed be given to kindergartners, he even defended that in his speaches while running for the U.S. Senate. It’s on film and in the record.
