Rielle Hunter PICTURES:GQ Photo Mag Drama – Rielle Hunter has decided that it was time to step out in the limelight and share with the world what really happened between her and John Edwards.
In a 10 page interview with GQ Magazine the former videographer held nothing back and talked candidly about her sexual encounters with former Democratic presidential hopeful,their new life together and took a shot at John’s ex wife Elizabeth.
Here are some chosen fragments from the discussion:
On loving John Edwards whom she called Johnny:

“I know he loves me.I have never had any doubt at all about that. We love each other very much. And that hasn’t changed, and I believe that will be till death do us part. The love doesn’t go away. It’s unconditional.”

On being happy living with Johnny:

“He is doing the right thing.And he’s a great father. Once Johnny and Elizabeth separated, we were able to move forward quite quickly. And it has to do with him not hiding in order to see his daughter. He very much wants to be in her life full-time, and he doesn’t want to hide.I’m not a predator, I’m not a gold digger, I’m not the stalker.He has actually redeemed his life, not ruined it, by leaving a marriage and a career for which he wasn’t well suited.”

On not being a home-wrecker:

“Infidelity doesn’t happen in healthy marriages. The break in the marriage happens before the infidelity. And that break happened, you know, two and a half decades before I got there. So the home was wrecked already. I was not the Home Wrecker.”

On the s*x tape:

I’d love to answer that. But I filed papers and we’re in a lawsuit, and I just can’t talk about it. [Having sought and won a temporary restraining order to prevent the distribution of the tape, Hunter is suing the Youngs for invasion of privacy.] But I do look forward to talking about it in court, under oath. The truth of all that will come out in court.

Hunter has repeatedly said that she had her baby daddy’s consent to do the lengthy interview but spokespeople for John Edwards and Elizabeth Edwards did not wish to comment on the story.
