This due to Ronald's constituency with the likes of Manuel Noriega [which resulted in an influx of a drug once considered a rich-man's drug "cocaine" into the inner-cities across America]. Add to that an aggressive implementation of contradictory drug-enforcement policy , teamed with Nancy's "Just Say No" campaign , and you end up with a disproportionate number of "black's & latinos" in the prison system. It goes without saying that it also resulted in a murder-rate that we still have not recovered from. As one to have firsthand experience with this destructive , as well as deliberate , necessary-evil injected into my and other black & latino neighborhood's , accompanied by the loss of some of my closest family & friend's I see this as an insult. I know of course that this doesn't matter to many , but it still feel's good to unload year's of bottled-up anger and frustration. It probably wouldn't bother me as much , if they also built a shrine to the many casualties , of the hidden war against the impoverished in America's forgotten area's. Be sure to mold statues in the likeness of all the innocent victim's , who died as a result of being forced to live in these environment's [you know like the "Little Nikki's" killed in the crossfire of a war over a product supplied via the Reagan/Noriega administration]. And of course there were other supplier's , I just don't need to get that deep , however if you watch the series "AMERICAN GANGSTER" , be sure to view the one on "FREEWAY RICKY ROSS".
