The Palins are so dirty that even Karl Rove doesn’t have to do anything to coach. They are already clever. If you know what I mean. Children of darkness are smart than children of light.

Yesterday AlterNet ran a piece titled “Top Ten Most Disturbing Facts and Impressions of Sarah Palin.” And in only 24 hours, almost as many exaggerations, misrepresentations and outright lies have reared their ugly heads. If you already read yesterday’s piece, here’s the next installment:

1: Palin Tried to Ban Books From Local Library
2: Palin Apparently Doesn’t Put “Country First”

For those of you who don’t like Soaps, you can tune into the following animations:
Foghorn Leghorn is Fred Thompson Droopy is Joe Lieberman, The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show are McCain and Palin.

More animation to air at a later date.

even if this is true, it will get no traction because the media is now scared to report any scandals on her. There is just too many. Karl Rove’s latest plan…so many scandals, no one will believe it…especially after all the smears about Obama

  10. Lynzie | Sep 8, 2008 | Reply

Well it is a fact that she tried banning books and tried to fire the librarian. Excepting earmarks can be proven. This would probably not taint her reputation, as boys will be boys, so it seems too weird not to be true. Not on Snopes so I don’t know for sure. She is just too much an unknown to be a vice president.

Lynzie, get your facts straight if you’re going to post in the future. I’d hate for you to get a rep as a BS’er. Sarah didn’t try to ban any books. She asked about the procedure and what would happen if someone did ask for something to be banned. There have been no requests to ban anything. This is a democrate non story.
The only difference between Osama and Obama is a little BS. Don’t let it get on you too.

  13. chris | Sep 11, 2008 | Reply

bandido, typical response from an uneducated racist redneck – comparing obama to a terrorist. it only exempifies the fact that you are too ignorant to see what the real enemies (republicans) have done to our country in the past 7 years. if john mcbush gets elected you’ll have yourself to blame and you’ll get what you deserve – more of the same BS – inflation, loss of jobs, a crumbling economy and the rich getting richer at your expense

  14. Kitsuiko | Sep 12, 2008 | Reply

    So… close.. to educated.. comments.

    Look.

People find stuff and say stuff. Some will be untrue, and some will be true. Big news sources will tend to fact check – that stuff is true.

If you are unwilling to trust them, check it out yourself. You’re on the frackin’ internet RIGHT NOW.

Sarah Palin asked how to ban books, not banned books. That, however, is the akin to someone asking how to build pipe bombs. Potentially dangerous and not really at all comforting that she didn’t go through with the process. A librarian was also fired in this situation, it doesn’t add up.

Sarah Palin willingly, repeatedly lied about the Obama tax cuts and who they effect. Either she hasn’t read them or has just gone with what her campaign doctrine is.

Sarah Palin DID support the bridge to nowhere long after many people said no, and DID take the money earmarked for it for her state. This isn’t necessarily bad – states need money and Alaska DOES need jobs, but she lied about doing it.

Sarah Palin DID fire the chef, but, kept him as a legislative retainer in another building. He is currently funded by Alaska, just a different part.

Sarah Palin DID cut the jet (the ebay thing was a joke, people, chill) but she has charged Alaska for her traveling/working/hotel hours when she was working at home. Again, morally questionable but not really illegal.

Sarah Palin DID have a child. Trig is her son. Get over it.

Sarah Palin did not START charging people for their own rape kits. However, she did not CHANGE this when she took office.

Sarah Palin does strongly support anti-abortion and anti-gay rights. If this is something you believe in, she is a good candidate for your views. If not, well, obviously she is not. She is against abortion EVEN in cases of rape and incest. Vote accordingly to whether you think that is reasonable or not.

Disagree with me? Don’t shout. Pull up facts from sources and state “hey, lady, look at these facts, they will round out your thoughts.”

Can we all pretend like we’re educated adults who form our opinions of politics slightly more intellectually, and treat it less like we’re hating on the Giants or something? It’s really, really pathetic to see people huffing over “Those Conservatives” or “Those Dems” like they’re talking about a sporting event.

We Democrats are a little upset because we do not feel on the whole that the Republican campaign has been run honestly, in fact, we feel there have been several bold faced lies and that their actions in their campaigning are going to be a preview for how they will run.

You Republicans, to my knowledge, are worried because not only is there some concern that Obama may not be tough enough on terrorism but that certain inherent values (Sex Education in Schools, Abortion, Gay Rights) and several monetary concerns (Taxes, Gas Prices) will either be addressed poorly or not addressed at all.

Research, correct, study, report. Check your issues, see who REALLY believes what (the internet is great for this) and vote accordingly. And please, don’t treat other opinions as if they were spawned from Satan. We’re all just trying to do what we believe is best for America for our own reasons.

We all want 2008-2012 to be better than the last 8 years, stronger, healthier and happier. Do not lose sight of that in favor of the “rush” of the sporting event side. Look to your children and friends and make a choice that will make you be able to say “I picked this person” and feel proud about that.

I am an 84 1/2 yr old diggruntled Hillary supporter….who is voting for Obama.
I think McCains VP nominee is a joke…she will do whatever the “far right religeous”side of the Republican Party ask her to.
Since the Media is owned (lock/stock/ and barrel) by either Murdock or Mellon-Scheiff we will get only the facts Rove and the Bush admin. want us to hear.

I will never understand how anyone could vote
for McCain & Co. after the last almost 8 yrs.
Our country is bankrupt, ( we are paying for the war in Iraq with money barrowed from China) , no jobs, all outsourced; we no longer grow our own food, so many loosing their houses, banks going down, prospects of indefinite wars under the Rep admin….
no health care (every other cizilized nation has it)…top 1% get huge tax breaks, while
    the middle class suffers.
Now they want to “drill baby drill”…when the oil companys have 86million acres already approved for drilling, some off coast. (that they are not using)..
    If you like what the Bush people have done, by all means vote for McCain and Caribou Barbie;
but if you are interested in real change vote
    Democratic.

Yes the oil company have huge tracks they have not used – Alaska took back some of the leases that Exon had/has up on the North Slope – Exon is suing (they do that well and often)
Sarah is fine as the governor of Alaska – even state politics are small town. I did not vote for her, but she has done pretty well in my opinion.
But please not one heartbeat away from being president of the USA.
I like Mcain – was leaning towards voting for him – now I have to look at Obama, I cannot see myself putting Sarah that close to that much responsibility.

You people seem to forget that PRESIDENT BUSH, like it or not, has kept this nation safe since 9/11/01. AND, have you ever asked yourself if BILL CLINTON and CRONIES had done their jobs and hunted down OSAMA BIN LADEN and allowed the CIA to kill HIM, we would probably not have gone through 9/11/01 and the loss of so many people. It is easy to play MONDAY MORNING QB AFTER the game is over, to say what you would have done. But you DO NOT KNOW what you would have done. HOWEVER, we were warned in the 90’s all through the CLINTON REIGN, that Al QAEADA was going to bring the USA to it’s knees! They attacked the USS COLE when it docked in the PORT OF YEMEN, even though CLINTON knew and was warned if the AMERICAN SHIP stop there, it would be in grave danger. Clintoon and Monica were having too much fun in the OVAL OFFICE to really take care of business at hand. Remember the Cobar Towers Bombing; the bombing of our embassies both in KENYA and in TANZANIA; and the bombing of the USS COLE all three of the four under CLiNTON and he did NOTHING! And now, you idiots think that BUSH planned 9/11/01, but let me tell you, the loop they keep showing of BUSH in that Classroom, and you people think he was reading a book to some of the kids, you are DEAD wrong! President GEORGE BUSH was in ROUTE to the School when the first plane and second plane hit the World Trade Towers. When he was informed about the planes, he got to the school, and immediately addressed the nation. After that, HE LEFT!

Sarah Palin will make an excellent choice! Palin has the guts, the will, and the STAMIA to be VICE PRESIDENT! The HollyWEIRD crowd doesn’t like her because she is 1) A STRONG WOMAN; 2) She is PRO-LIFE like so many of us in this country who go unnoticed; 3) She has shown she can handle all the name calling and stand strong; 4) She is a mom, and she ABSOLUTELY IS MORE THAN QUALIFIED TO BE PRESIDENT! 5) As a MOM, she like so many of us, and as a woman in general, women MULTI-TASK; MEN DON’T KNOW HOW TO DO THAT! 6) if you listen to the left, you would think she is some kind of idiot who has never held a job…but she has MORE EXECUTIVE EXPERIENCE than Barack Obama who is running for PRESIDENT! She has run a city; now a GOVERNOR, where once again, she has to balance a budget for the state of Alaska; hire and fire people; and make life changing decisions as governor and she is so GREAT at what she does that the people of ALASKA call her “Sarah” instead of Govenor because she, like the people who elected her, shops at the same stores, knows everyone’s name and she does something that our CONGRESS can’t even do. She has an APPROVAl RATING AS GOVERNOR OF 82%!!! Where as this DemoRAT US CONGRESS has an approval rating of 9%!!!! Lead by non-other by Liberal, Nancy Pelosi! ROFLOL!!! Sarah Palin was a BRILLIANT MOVE on JOHN McCAIN’S PART, and since the people who criticize her can’t really find anything wrong with her, they have to be like 3rd graders and call her names! And that is very sad. Lincoln Chaffee owes EVERY WOMAN an apology when he called SARAH PALIN A “COCKY WACKO” because she is a CHRISTIAN. I hope when people vote this year, they remember these comments and vote this LOUSY, DO NOTHING CONGRESS along with Chaffee, VOTE THEM OUT! They have forgotten that they too are NOT perfect…but even more so…they have forgotten that THEY are SUPPOSED to do the PEOPLE’s BUSINESS! They haven’t and won’t. And so VOTE THEM OUT and VOTE IN McCAIN/PALIN in NOVEMBER….THE REAL CHANGE CANDIDATES!!!

Hon, Barack Obama has ZERO, NADA, NONE Executive experience whatsoever. The Dems say well, Obama was head of a committee in the senate. BIG WHOOP! HE was NEVER THERE TO CAST ANY VOTE OR EVEN OFFER ANY PIECE OF LEGISLATION! Obama is going to raise taxes on ALL of us except, the poor, and hon, during a slow down in our economy, if you raise taxes, it will send this country SPIRALING INTO A RECESSION SO DEEP, only GOD will be able to pull us out from it. Obama also believes in INVADING PAKISTAN! Can you imagine? He has NO FOREIGN POLICY EXPERIENCE WHATSOEVER and when he was in the ILLINOIS STATE SENATE, he voted 130 TIMES, PRESENT INSTEAD OF A YES OR NO ON A PIECE OF LEGISLATiON! With the exeception, of rending medical care to a living baby during a botched abortion, Obama says this is “above my paygrade”, so, he said he wasn’t sure it was a baby or a fetus, so he voted NO on rendering medical care to a baby who survives a botched abortion!!!! In one case, the parents aborted their Down Syndrome child, but the child survived the HORRIBLE PROCEDURE, the parents would not hold their own baby and so this baby was thrown into a soiled linen closet like trash, and a nurse heard this baby crying, and rescued the baby, but because of the the law OBAMA and friends passed, she rocked this baby for 45 minutes before it died….because she could not legally get medical help for this pecious soul! Think about that. One day, these parents will stand before GOD ALMIGHTY and they will see their aborted baby, like everyone who has aborted babies in the past, but the blood of these aborted babies is not only on the hands of the ones who commit the abortion, but the doctor, and anyone who supports this horrible procedure! DO NOT VOTE FOR A PRO-ABORTION CANDIDATE!! GOD will judge and on that day, whether you believed it or not, you will be held accountable. GOD is the giver and sustainer of life. REMEMBER THAT. But Obama can’t figure out if a full term aborted baby is a fetus or not, so he set this legislation in place and this baby, from a botched abortion, died. Obama is also for money re-distrubution. That means, if you work, and many work very hard for their money, but if you work, some of your money will be taken by the government and given to those who don’t want to work, or are on welfare. And that IS JUST WRONG! We give to Charities who take care of the poor and churches who also take in the poor! AND, here’s the bottom line about OBAMA’s UNIVERSAL HEALTHCARE…they don’t want you to know..but a BUREAUCRAT from WASHINGTON will be involved in your healthcare and you will be ASSIGNED a doctor to go to. IF you contribute to society, then you will go to a doctor, ONLY if the BUREAUCRAT tells you you are approved. Sounds like it couldn’t be like that here….but I ask you to check it out…find out the hidden things the obama camp is telling you. Why do you think Hillary Care was voted out when Bill was president…hummmm? Do some research on Obama…find out what he is REALLY about and about what he is NOT TELLING YOU. AND ask HIM about RAILA ODINGA!! HINT: It has to do with AFRICA and OBAMA’s TRIBE (KENYA). It is VERY INTERESTING. For more info…and I hope the moderator doesn’t take this link off….but if you go to: dontvoteobama.net This website is kept and updated daily by some VIETNAM VETS who know. It is not a republican or democratic site. I think that will help you. Yes, obama is supposed to be the “CHANGE” candidate, but as you see,he is just more of the same that we have had in these races for years and years. I hope you will give McCain/Palin a Closer look and please, don’t believe all the things written by the left about her. Obama could have and should have picked Hillary and he just blew it. It’s that simple. Anyway, however you vote….may GOD BLESS YOU!

Just a note to EVERYONE….. McCAIN and PALIN are NOTHING like PRESIDENT BUSH! DO NOT BELIEVE THE LIES OF THE LEFT. (They still think “seperation of church an state is in the Constitution”! LOL!) IT IS NOT! READ THE BILL OF RIGHTS, THE PREAMBLE TO THE CONSTITUTION AND THE CONSTITUTION!

One other thing….if McCain was anything like BUSH, he would have supported the BUSH TAX CUTS…he didn’t. Also, he never would have worked with Feingold on a bill called McCain-Feingold! OR anyone from across the ISLE in congress. HE has crossed the ISLE offered his hand to work with the DEMS. AND he has had success. HE is the ONLY ONE! You can TRUST McCAIN/PALIN! President BUSH was 100% CONSERVATIVE….but I believe those days are now gone! We really need someone who has experience and knows how to deal with the greatest threat GLOBAL TERRORISM!!!!! Without Security, we won’t have to worry about jobs, economy, or anything else.

JOHN McCAIN has the experience to be president. OBAMA in a few years, will have that experience….but, for now, it is too dangerous to take a chance. Remember, 9/11/01? Many have forgotten….and some idiots think it was an inside job! What IDIOTS! And by the way, the loop that has been played by so many stations saying President Bush didn’t immediately leave even though Andrew Card whispered in his ear…they are lying. I watched and listened Closely to 9/11/01 “AS IT HAPPENED” on MSNBC, and PRESIDENT BUSH WAS IN ROUTE TO THE SCHOOL IN FLORIDA, STUCK IN TRAFFIC, and had NO WAY to contact the AMERICAN PEOPLE as this was happening. REMEMBER, as 9/11/01, played out, we didn’t know WHO had attacked us. But President BUSH was not just sitting in a chair, in a FLORIDA SCHOOL ROOM like we have been lied to about. I suggest all you who think BUSH just sat there, get a tape of Katie Couric, Tom Brokaw, and Matt Lauer telling the events as it happened just like it was shown on that day, 7 years ago! Listen to it yourself and then, you will see President BUSH give a short statement to the American people!

I know you conspiracy buffs will find out you are so wrong. And by the way, there were several EYE WITNESSES TO THE PLANE HITTING THE PENTAGON!

Anyway, just thought I would post this so you folks would know this was played just as it happened on 9/11/2001….on MSNBC…hardly a conservative news show.

    Hope this helps!

Track is another example of what’s wrong with Palin who turns out to be another Dan Quayle with internal plumbing…what a bimbo!

If she’s going to run the country the way she’s raised her family we’re all doomed!

And, as she sent Track off to Iraq yesterday she connected the War in Iraq to 911? Didn’t someone tell her even George W. Bush has acknowledged there’s no connection.

Another puppet for Rove and Cheney to pull her strings. McCain steps down while he’s in office, she becomes President, and Cheney and Rove are back in power. The Corporate-acracy of America continues to rule supreme.

Remember the brige to nowhere she supported then fliped flopped on…well, she kept an incredible amount of that money and built the ROAD TO NOWHERE…check it out.

i’m so sick and tired of all the crazy rants and lies. terry, i checked out that website and it’s nothing but hate and lies. the sad thing is that there are STILL so many people in this country who look down on another human being because he is different. in obamas case it’s because he is black, but what about the mentally “challenged” (retarded, downs syndrome, etc.) other ethnicities, different genders or people with different sexual preferences. i work in a very diverse workplace but i see prejudice every day. the “bosses” speak of diversity, hire diversly (when they have to) but ignore the underlying current of hate and derision. i, for one, look forward to the day when all of this is just a sad memory in our great counties history. that alone should be enough reason to vote for obama, besides the fact that he’s more qualified, smarter, younger and more stable andlevel headed than McBush and his “babe” put together

Were you in a coma during the Democratic primaries? I’m not a “leftie” (although I am left handed which supposedly means I’m right brained) but I think we ought to be fair and call it as it really is. The media did not care about sexism during the Democratic primary and now suddenly it’s an issue. I too notice that she is as stark a contrast to Hilary as you could get politically, she’s certainly less threatening to a certain segment of men, which is really what I think it boils down to. Hilary is smart and tough and committed to her position as a public servant in America. And yes, she’s ambitious too. So what? Grow a set guys – don’t be afraid of a strong woman who doesn’t need you. The appeal of Palin has affected me too. Why? Because of my Southern upbringing I have ridiculous ideas of how women should hold themselves – feminine, a bit vulnerable, pretty and they should always take a back seat seat to and never know more than a man. Don’t you know? Women are only here to do a mans bidding. Although you seem to support Sarah Palin now I wonder if you still throw that support behind her should she ever have to assume the Presidency? One heartbeat away, and then you’ll be stuck doing what a woman tells you to do. Just like your mother and your wife… eeeeek! Be careful what you wish for friend.

Bush and McCain are one in the same. McCain sat for over 25 years in the Senate and occasionally (5% of the time) crossed the aisle and voted differently. He’s suffering from post traumatic stress syndrome from his stay in the Hanoi Hilton and can not be trusted with the economy. When it comes to Iraq he wants to stay the Bush course and keep our troops coming home in coffins at any cost to the American public. Rant and rave all your want you Republicans, you voted for Bush 2 times knowing darn well he had no military experience to command the Armed Forces, previous failed business experience, and just completely unqualified to be President. Palin is rightfully being put under a microscope as should all of our elected officals.

Does anyone remember Timothy Mcveigh, US Army vet, registered Republican and member of the NRA? Was he a true American? He wore a uniform with the US flag on it and you’re complaining when a politician doesn’t wear a lapel pin?

Neither McCain nor Obama are experienced in global terrorism. Look at the government response to a natural disaster, like Katrina. The ’surge” has only pushed the terrorists into Pakistan and Afghanistan where we are now sending more troops.

Karl Rove’s tactics are finally going to explode in his face. This Palin thing is NOT going to work. She auditioned once for this role and she and McCain can’t keep their lies straight(earmarks, bridge to nowhere, offshore drilling, etc).

Rove said that Tim Kaine, former mayor of Richmond, VA, Lt. Governor, and Governor of Virginia, wasn’t qualified to be Obama’s candidate. Then when Palin came onto the scene she’s suddenly more qualified than everyone on both Dem and Rep tickets, with less experience than Kaine, and from a smaller city? Even a 3-year old can see she was only picked because she’s a woman. There is no comparison, just more Rove spinning out of control.

Secondly, how’s the stock market doing these days? Again – BUSH’S WATCH.

How’s your gas prices? Again – BUSH’S WATCH.

McCain voted 90% of the time the same as Bush. Maverick? Nope. CLONE? Yep.

Terry, you may have hit on something.

You’re comment ‘….like so many of us that go unnoticed’ is a clear explanation of why Republican rebuttal’s are so vicious and personal. I just thought it was a personality trait.
    We hear your frustration.
Stop YELLING AND RANTING like a McCainiac. We believe that you want to believe what your told ‘to believe’. But because you have been lied to these last eight years is no excuse to shoot the messenger.
We notice you and if you vote with us, we won’t let you down.

It is irrelevant, except that you do not send your boy to war because he pulled a prank and you do not arrange a shotgun wedding for your daughter to sanitize a teen pregnancy that took place at an inconvenient political moment. The cover ups are whats important, not the young people’s screw ups. If a person could sacrifice her children in this way for the sake of ambition, what about me, that means nothing to her?

Lori’s attitude helps to explain how Jimmy Jones got so many people to willingly drink the juice.”Drink with us, we won’t let you down.”

Okay. Let me see if I have this straight.

    * If you grow up in Hawaii, raised by your grandparents, you’re “exotic, different.”

    * If you grow up in Alaska eating moose burgers, you’re a quintessential American story.

    * If your name is Barack, you’re a radical, unpatriotic Muslim.

    * If you name your kids Willow, Trig and Track, you’re a maverick.

    * If you graduate from Harvard law School, you are unstable.

    * If you attend 5 different small colleges before graduating, you’re well grounded.

    * If you spend 3 years as a brilliant community organizer, become the first black President of the Harvard Law Review, create a voter registration drive that registers 150,000 new voters, spend 12 years as
a Constitutional Law professor, spend 8 years as a State Senator representing a district with over 750,000 people, become chairman of
the state Senate’s Health and Human Services committee, spend 4 years in the United States Senate representing a state of 13 million people while sponsoring 131 bills and serving on the Foreign Affairs, Environment and Public Works and Veteran’s Affairs committees, you
don’t have any real leadership experience.

    * If your total resume is: local weather girl, 4 years on the city council and 6 years as the mayor of a town with less than 7,000 people,
20 months as the governor of a state with only 650,000 people, then you’re qualified to become the country’s second highest ranking
    executive.

    * If you have been married to the same woman for 19 years while raising 2 beautiful daughters, all within Protestant churches, you’re not a real Christian.

    * If you cheated on your first wife with a rich heiress, and left your disfigured wife and married the heiress the next month, you’re a Christian.

    * If you teach responsible, age appropriate sex education, including the proper use of birth control, you are eroding the fiber of society.

    * If, while governor, you staunchly advocate abstinence only, with no other option in sex education in your state’s school system, while your unwed teen daughter ends up pregnant, WHILE adamantly opposing abortion EVEN in cases of RAPE and INCEST, you’re very responsible.

    * If your wife is a Harvard graduate lawyer who gave up a position in a prestigious law firm to work for the betterment of her inner city community, then gave THAT up to raise a family, your family’s values don’t represent America’s.

    * If your husband is nicknamed “First Dude”, with at least one DWI conviction and no college education, who didn’t register to vote until age 25 and once was a member of a group that advocated the secession of Alaska from the USA, your family is extremely admirable.

    …Okay, much clearer now.

    COME ON, PEOPLE.
    Enough is enough.

The only thing that I’ve to see from Sarah is for her to go on Meet the Press!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Guess it’s not going to happen now! Guess she can’t hold her own!!!!

    Sarah Palin- UNQUALIFIED? YOU BETCHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  43. Jsmith | Oct 27, 2008 | Reply

Why are Palin’s school age children on stage with her at campaign rallies? Does she home school on top of everything else? I can’t believe how she uses those kids — especially the two youngest. This woman needs to be run out of politics. She is clearly unqualified but getting a taste of fame — watch her sign autographs at those rallies; hanging out with Elisabeth Hasselbeck and appearing on SNL — she is not going to want to give up that celebrity to go back to Alaska.

All you left wing liberal democrats have your heads up your asses!! Obama is associated with radical extremists, socialism, Karl Marx, Rev. Wright who is a hater and blames white people for everything, unpatriotic, knows shit about foreign policy, does not place his hand on his heart when the pledge of allegiance is read, inexperienced and connected to Muslims!!! When the terrorists hit us again and they will he will be hiding his skinny ass in a bunker while the rest of us Americans take the hit! I agree with Terry 100%! Clinton did nothing when the USS Cole was bombed! He should have taken Osama Bid Laden out then! What is Obama going to do when this happens to us again, sit down and talk to the terrorists? What a joke he and his wife are, and what a joke you liberal democrats are for voting for him. And as for Sarah Palin she has more experience than he can begin to have. She speaks to the working middle class, governor, mother and juggles it all! All you democrats can do is trash her family. Her family has nothing to do with her expertise for being VP. Obama associations have everything to do with his questionable past! No one really knows who he is. Oh, News break! Just heard his aunt is living here illegally and has been for 4 yrs in low income housing. He says he didn’t know about it, yet he talks about her in his book and she was there when he was sworn into office as a senator! Lies! Lies! He does not remember anyone from his past, how convenient! If he wins, I hope all you dems get what you ask for! McCain is the ONLY COMMANDER IN CHIEF right for this job!! Vote McCain/Palin

Interesting rants, the previous, UNCFAN, is fairly typical of the WWG, whiney white guys. or for that matter any group about to lose their power. They are largely an ignorant group riled up by the “Rush Limbbugers” of the world. Life goes on. Politicians are like diapers, they need to be changed.

Here’s a bit of news for everyone out there. Obama is going to win. Period. It’s been a good fight and the man with the most electoral votes will win.

I am retired USAF, served my country 27 years active duty…born and raised in Alabama, hard core Republican all my life. And I am going to vote for Obama because of the situation our country is in.

So on Tuesday evening when it is announced, I hope everything will settle down and another group of politicians will have an opportunity to do something about our economy–as the Republicans have failed miserably for the past 8 years.

One last note – the sickness I feel when I think of something happening to McCain (due to his health/age) and the possibility that Sarah Palin would be commander in chief? Horrible…

    May the best man win!

To Mark: You are too ignorant to face the truth about Obama! You liberals turn your head when the truth comes out about him and don’t want to hear it. The news media is bias and only reports the good about Obama; which there is none. I hope you make over $250, 200 or whatever he decides so your money goes to support welfare and the sorry assess who don’t want to work. All the dems want to go is give handouts and keep people on welfare. Maybe I should just quit my job so you can support me. Lets face it, all the blacks are coming out of the woodwork to vote for him ONLY because he is black. Most of them don’t even vote. Proud REP

yes she asked about banning books…AND then fired the woman who said she would have a problem with it..??..hmmm sounds like she had thought about it to me…it just so happens the books in question were about homosexuality..i think you may have to research a bit more before trying to tell someone off…it’s all good though thanks to uninformed people like you we have won our country back…to freedom we march..and yes banning books or even bringing it up and then firing someone for opposition is very UN-american

  50. K | Nov 5, 2008 | Reply

q… your are totally ignorant on the subject. You are proof that the bigger lie, the easier it is to get people like you to believe. It would be shocking if you weren’t an Obama supporter.

You are marching all right… like a child behind your Pied Piper.

I am continually amazed by the polarization on these boards. I must say, I never see a republican calling for an end to partisan politics. Why is that? I only see crazy talk about how Obama supporters are “baby killers” and “godless” and are “drinking kool-aide” and like the post above, “following the pied piper” and so forth. Then I see snarky comments about how horrible Bush was, which of course, was true. But still snarky.

At the end of the day, guess who won? A larger percentage of the population voted in this election than has ever voted in the past 100 years. People all over have been moved to take a stand and stop this nonsense. But I am struck by how much the McCain supporters are absolutely TERRIFIED of the Obama presidency. This is very surprising.

Does anyone remember that during the Reagan/Bush years, we had the largest national debt we had ever had? Then Clinton came along and BALANCED IT? Then Bush came along and gave us an even bigger national debt?

Does anyone recall that the two wars we’ve been in lately, Desert Storm and the Iraq War were both held, DURING REPUBLICAN ADMINISTRATIONS? Of course, war profiteers won’t be making any money for the next four years, sorry Halliburton/Cheney Family.

We have been attacked by terrorists during republican administrations?

The rest of the world already looks upon our nation with kinder eyes. This lowers our “terrorist threat level.”

Can no one see that Obama has no financial agenda? Just read his biography. This guy really believes what he says. He wants to make a difference. He is a community organizer and he views the populace of the United States as one community. Republicans and Democrats alike. Wait and see. He will be calling upon us all to help him solve the country’s problems. He will be asking us all to set aside our differences to join in the common good. This will mean that I will have to set aside my GIAGANTIC AVERSION to that Horrid Palin Woman. I think her voice could peel paint. I think she has the IQ of sand. But I will have to Just Shut Up about that and stand shoulder to shoulder with my Mormon Republican neighbors because the country needs all of us right now.

So let’s stop whining and get to work.
