reported on the day the Gov announced her pregnancy that her closest staffers were stunned, clueless and no one thought she looked preggers at 7 months. Here’s an excerpt:
That the pregnancy is so advanced astonished all who heard the news. The governor, a runner who’s always been trim, simply doesn’t look pregnant.
Even close members of her staff said they only learned this week their boss was expecting.
“I thought it was becoming obvious,” Palin said. “You know, clothes getting snugger and snugger.”
But people just couldn’t believe the news.
“Really? No!” said Bethel state Rep. Mary Nelson, who is close to giving birth herself.
“It’s wonderful. She’s very well-disguised,” said Senate President Lyda Green, a mother of three who has sometimes sparred with Palin politically. “When I was five months pregnant, there was absolutely no question that I was with child.”

Well the drinking age in Alaska is not 16 and Miss Thing seems to think it is ok for her daughter and her home girls to be boozing it up.
There is a reason McCain tapped her and it was not for her brains.

I hope Sarah wears the same hoop earrings when she is sworn in as Vice President in January. One can bet Hillary will still be wearing mens pants in the Senate and Obama will be talking to his convict pals Tony Rezko and Willie Ayers about why he lost.

I heard that Palin’s approval rating was 60% & falling. Charging women for rape kits didn’t help, I’m sure. What kind of a mother parades a pregnant unmarried teenager in front of all of America for their own advancement? I call that exploitation. She’s shown that she will do whatever it takes to achieve her goals. McCain lost my vote when he picked her. I made that decision the night she made her acceptance speech. All she had to do was start talking!
