Ever hear of Hustler Magazine, Inc. v. Falwell? Parody is a protected form of free speech. As a now public figures, the Palins could never win the lawsuit that you hope for.

SNL has not been funny for years yet somehow NBC continues to find a sponsor for it, which I find amazing in and of itself. However, for NBC to allow the Palin skit to air is beyond irresponsible…it’s despicable. Personally, I hope the Palins sue NBC, GE and SNL, individually and collectively. I guarantee if I were on the jury, the Palin family would own NBC! The SNL staff must consist of a bunch of mal-content comic wannabe’s who have ingested way too much stuff that fries brain cells. There was nothing entertaining, much less humorous about that skit. It was disgusting. And for GE to sponsor it just bought itself a boycott from me.
