Teresa Lewis Virginia: 1st US execution Of Woman Since 2005

Teresa Lewis Virginia: 1st US execution Of Woman Since 2005 – A Virginia woman who used sex and money to help persuade two men to kill her husband and stepson so that she could collect a $250,000 life insurance policy will be executed within the next two months. It will be the first time that a woman in the US has been executed in the last five years. The date of Teresa Lewis’ execution is September 23. She is currently the only woman in Virginia on death row, and will be the first woman executed in the state in nearly a century.
She offered the two men herself and her 16 year old daughter for sex in exchange for the killings. She also gave them money to buy the weapons that were used in the killings and stood there as they shot her husband, Julian Clifton Lewis Junior, 51, and his stepson, Charles J Lewis, 25, in 2002.
She took his wallet out of his pocket while he laid there dying, and waited nearly an hour before calling paramedics to come assist him. The gunmen who have been charged in the case are Rodney fuller and Matthew Shallenberger, who have received a life sentence in prison. Shallenberger committed suicide while behind bars in 2006.
Christie Lynn Bean, the daughter who was also involved in the killing, served five years because she knew about the plan but did not alert authorities. Lewis’ attorney claims that Shallenberger admitted to coming up with the plan himself before killing himself, but several appeals have been denied.

Kill em all and let the Lord sort em out
And this is supposed to be one of the most civilized country in the world? It’s even worse then Iran!!
So move there
well statistics wise we are almost as bad as iran when it comes to the court system. we hold 25% of the world’s prisoners in our country. are you going to tell me to move to iran with your cheeto breath? i think i’d much rather stay here and work to make the country i grew up in the best place it can be.
Hey Mark it is because of morons like yourself that this country is in the shape that we are. You are far to liberal. This country has gone to heck in a hand basket. All these foreigners are moving in and taking over. They move here get welfare, free housing, free medical you name it. I am sick and tired of supporting the sick, lame and lazy not to mention all the murders, rapists and pedofiles sitting on deathrow. IT IS TIME TO TAKE OUT THE TRASH. By the way if Iran is so great I am willing to buy you a one way ticket.
you obviously got the best education in the world.look at your spelling. it is very displeasing to look at.
I absolutely can not agree more with you,you are spot on,maybe you and i could do a better job running this country!
Shame on the Governor McDonnell, USA civilized country ?
Going to kill a low mental woman ? You can give lessons to other countries of the world, YOU DO NOT DEFEND HUMAN RIGHTS.
And, don’t tell me to leave your country, by chance I’m living in Switzerland.
I’m apolitical, just looking that you’re going to kill a woman with an IQ so low that she need psychiatric hospital but not death.
I think Ms Jennifer is an intelligent person to start with. Mrs Lewis killed for greed, not because she was a mental case. Anyone can fail an IQ test. Think about it, would you rather be “retarded” and blend in or a “mercenary” and be hated?
On another note, whoever said Iran was better doesn’t know their butt from a hole in the ground. Iran, as well as the other countries that have a predominantly Muslim culture, will kill (via stoning, beating, etc..) a woman who was raped because “she enticed” her rapist. How “CIVILIZED” is that?!?
Go get a brain.
So, I am surprised by Jennifer’s sick mind. My friend if you are not happy that your government is supporing the poor and sick people on its territories, simply go and pick another country, but not on earth…Think it over Jenny..:)
What i always have found strange is that the ultrareligious people mostly support the death penalty. How can they combine this with the message of love written in their bibles?
How can one religious man say things like “kill tem all and let the lord sort them out” ?
It’s probably because of my European background that i don’t understand.
It’s the only way you can justify the death penalty. If you believe in an afterlife, killing someone is merely shuffling off their mortal coil. An infinite afterlife still awaits. No biggie.
Only after you understand that you only have a brief, mortal life on this world do you appreciate just how precious it is.
I am glad that she was executed, she deserved it.If you are responsible for taking a life or of masterminding the taking of a life you should die.I support the death penalty for all states,i speak from experience,as my husband was murdered durring a robbery, and my sister Caroline Rose Isenberg was murdered in 1984 in New York City.I would have no problem watching the people who took my loved ones lives be put to death, hell i would even do it myself.Teresa Lewis is a cold calculating monster who was responsible for the murder of two people who did not deserve to die,i hope she rots in hell like she deserves. Why should tax payers have to pay for her or any other convicted murderer to live out their lives in jail, our loved ones did not even get the chance to live their lives.
Once again the U.S. has shown the civilized countries of Europe that it’s still a developing country
I am not against the death sentenced handed out to her, what I am against is the time it took for the case to be concluded and the sentence executed. For God sake she had to spend eight long years in jail before being killed. To me the suffering and the psychological torment for that eight years is worst than the death itself. Something should be done about the legal system.
