Here I go again crossing the path of idiot’s who support Sarah Palin. First off , I agree with Heather Mallick simply because she saw through Palin’s B.S. However , it is more a pleasure to address her dumb supporter’s. The only problem you people have with Obama is that he’s black. The only reason you people support Palin , is because she epitomizes what you think America is [White People's]. It was fine when my ancestor’s were picking cotton for your asses , just as long as they remain inferior. Obama is an educated man , yet he’s deemed unworhty simply because America want’s to keep in place history[a brutal history at that]. I don’t even vote , and am just glad to see America being shaken-up. It is most wonderful a feeling as a black man , to see my fellow brother [who by the way was a senator from the place I was born and raised{CHI-TOWN , ILL.}] receive criticism simply because idiot’s know of nothing better. Simply stated , it is natural for white’s [some not all] , to reject African American’s simply because they were/are taught to. This is why we have lobbyist , people who have no individuality just doing as the masses [And in this country it's usually racially motivated]. I have always dreamed of being a journalist , and respect people like Heather Mallick for not being a follower. I know I would have hater’s because I would cut no corner’s [and would do it all with intelligence] as a journalist. To all my white brother’s and sister’s with an open-mind , I give my deepest respect and true friendship. To the one’s who are [sad]istic , I forgive you though you need help. As I’ve said before , you people better stop worrying about Obama , and start worrying about all these “Bible” prophesies now coming true. Give up the hate , because it make’s you look more stupid each time you expose it. And finally , I am sick and tired of white people [some not all] calling this their country!!!!. This country is no more your’s than anyone else born and raised here , don’t get me started on the “Puritan Anglo-Saxon’s and their hypocrisy. That’s where this countries trouble’s began. And that’s my word.

using racial slang such as “white trash” and sexist remarks such as using porn star as an insult to females isn’t the way to win my sympathy. Calling someone “white trash” is just as wrong as calling someone the N word.

So who’s racist again? I keep forgetting which side is calling the other racist.

I don’t agree with most of the arguing back and forth, I can say though that a journalist using “white trash” as a means of describing a group of people probably isn’t the most scholarly of ways to prove a point….

We have universal medicare in Canada. I worked as a Registered Nurse in Canadian hospitals for many years. I urge Americans NOT to vote for Obama and such a system. You would not believe the abuse in universal medicare. I have seen unscrupulous doctors admit patients unnecessarily and others refer patients unnecesarily to their spouse specialists. The watchdog system really does not work because when government picks up the tab, other health professionals become complacent. Because the services are “free”, people go to doctors unnecessarily tying them up for people who really need to see them. Our waiting lists have become very long. I would rather pay a premium and get better care. Just warning you!

I agree 100% with Heather’s excellent analysis of SP and America’s ‘white trash’, hick vote or basically uneducated vote swept up by soundbites & superficial looks: appearances, clothes, teeth, winking. No — voting for the McCain/Palin ticket doesn’t make you white trash but it certainly defines you as stupid or possibly so extremely religious you can’t make intelligent decisions, leaving the world’s problems to your god. The Republicans can never answer any question — they just fill the void with words that attack, obfuscate and sometime ramble on (and on) without completing a sentence, thought or plan. Haven’t we had eight (too many) long years of smiles, inane jokes, laughs, winks, lies, malapropisms, and yes, basically ’soft porn’ which all too easily hide poor knowledge of economics, foreign affairs, science. The facts need addressing, leave the emotions behind. We need the next president to possess an intellect and be able to think outside the square (the GOP). This is not a beauty pageant. The needs of our entire country and its people must come first, before the very rich top 1-2% that can afford a rise in taxes more than the poor can afford a cut in services…….I hope the CBC doesn’t ever edit Heather Mallick! And sometimes, it takes an outsider, an objective observer, to notice a weakness. Thank you Heather.

After many complaints, a couple of weeks ago our CBC apologized for the ugly Heather Mallick article on Sarah Palin. CBC promised new editing procedures and even a diversity of opinions. I am sure I will see something worthwhile from the right when hell freezes over or our Canadian government quits funding CBC our tax dollars.
