Tim Kaine Barack Obama VP?

Tim Kaine Barack Obama VP?

Tim Kaine Barack Obama VP? - Tim Kaine is very likely to be Barack Obama’s VP.Sources are claiming that the Virginia Gov. Tim Kaine is said to “rank very, very high on the short list, as Obama’s running mate and “is getting a critical examination”.Kaine is a Spanish-speaking former Catholic missionary and civil rights lawyer who very early on,endorsed Obama.Obama hint, in an NBC interview that he’d prefer a Beltway outsider:

“I’m going to want somebody with independence — who’s willing to tell me where he thinks, or she thinks, I’m wrong.” “And I’m going to want somebody who shares a vision of the country: where we need to go — that we’ve got to fundamentally change not only our policies, but how politics work, how business is done in Washington.”“I’m not interested in a vice president who I send off to go to funerals. I want somebody who is going to roll up their sleeves and be willing to work.”

Kaine did an interview with WTOP radio in Washington, D.C., to talk about being a vice presidential contender. He said he has:

“no secret meeting” with Obama today, but that “I don’t talk about my conversations with the campaign.”"I am flattered, my mom loves it, she sees it,but that is for the campaign to decide.”

You can listen to the interview after the jump.

It seems clear that given the amount of leaking on this story, and the fact that Kaine is actually somewhat moderate on some issues, this is a trial balloon.

Obama wants to see if the far left pitches a fit about Kaine. If they do, no Obama-Kaine ticket, if they don’t, Kaine is in.

That’s from Not WRIGHT for America (www.notwrightforamerica.com), and it makes perfect sense.
