About Us

Good News Ministry is non-denominational ministry working to spread the
Word of God among the people through teaching, preaching and evangelizing. It is run by a team of volunteers who dedicated to bring the good news of Jesus Christ and win souls for Christ. It started its work in 2007. To know God is to Love God!

Mission
Good News Ministries is dedicated to proclaiming the word of God among the disadvantaged people of Pakistan and establishing them in Christian living. Our ultimate mission is to help individuals/community achieve independent living with a reliance on God.

Objective

Our main aim is to preach the word of God to the people through gospel campaigns, seminars, personal counseling etc. We also prefer preaching the gospel through the television, radio and written material to reach the millions of people who seldom go to church. Through our literature ministry we want to enlighten even the educated people to lead them into deeper spiritual experiences. As a result of this ministry thousands of people have already accepted Lord Jesus Christ as their personal savior.

Our faith statement

• We believe in the authority and sufficiency of the Holy Bible, consisting of 66 books of the Old and New Testaments, as originally written; that it was verbally and plenarily inspired and is the product of Spirit-controlled men; and therefore is infallible and inerrant in all matters of which it speaks.

• We believe it is the mandate of the whole Church to go into the whole world and to preach the word of god to every living creature.

• We believe in the God of the Bible and that the Holy Bible to be the Word of God. (Exodus 3:6-14 / II Timothy 3:16 / II Peter 1:21)
• We believe in Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, the Word made flesh and that He died for us. (John 1:14 / Romans 6:4)
• We believe Jesus Christ was raised from the dead and ascended into heaven. (Matthew 28:6 / Revelation 1:18)
• We believe that “God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him will not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)
• We believe that salvation is by grace through faith and not of works, and is a gift of God. (Ephesians 2:8-9 / Titus 3:5)
• We believe there is one and only one living and true God, an infinite Spirit, the Maker and supreme Ruler of Heaven and earth; inexpressibly glorious in holiness, and worthy of all possible honor, confidence and love; that in the unity of the Godhead there are three persons, but harmonious offices in the great work of redemption (Exodus 20:2-3; I Corinthians 8:6; Revelation 4:11).

What we do

Pastor’s conference
Every year we want to conduct 3-day conferences especially for the rural pastors who are very, very poor. These are the people who work at the grass-root-levels and face much opposition from the opposing people, confront many troubles and suffer for Christ. We want sponsors to sponsor such annual conference for at least 20 pastors and monthly support for the poor pastors. Every pastor and evangelist needs USA $100 every month. We also want to organize teaching seminars and conferences for the youth, women and rural people.

All night prayers

Once in a month All through the night prayer is conducted. We pray for your prayer needs. We also pray to God to help his children to take the Gospel of Jesus Christ quickly to the uttermost parts of the world. We pray to God to help and give boldness to the children of God who are going through fiery trails and temptations these days. We pray to God to fulfill the personal needs of the saints of Christ (Phil 4:19 ). We pray to God for his quick return unto the earth to take his bride home soon (Revelation 22:20 ).

Bible school
One of the biggest events for us here at Good News each year is our Vacation Bible School. It is truly a church wide event as we get everyone involved. From the youngest to the oldest, everyone in the church is able to have a part in the children hearing and responding to the word of God and souls being added to the kingdom.

Children Ministry

Sunday school
Sunday school is the hub of our educational, pastoral care and outreach ministry. Our Sunday school classes are treated like small groups with each having a teacher, a care-group leader, and an outreach leader. We encourage children of the age 5 -10 years to attend this Sunday school.
