Biden did an awesome job, answered all questions. Palin did ok but she avoided answering several questions and one scares me, only been doing this for 5 weeks…OMG what happens God forbid….

The problem with this debate was that almost every question was answered indirectly. The question on what is true/false about the causes of climate change, for example, was first answered by simply stating how much cooler one’s own plans were. Then, when asked the question again, Biden tried to actually answer the question while Palin relates back to her governor experiences in Alaska. So who really answered the question?
The debate strategies of Biden and Palin are clearly seen - Biden drums into our heads about how our nation needs ‘fundamental’ changes and all Palin has been saying is how great a ‘maverick’ McCain is and Alaska, Alaska, Alaska.
Nothing new.

I appreciated the confidence with which Sarah confronted Senator Biden. She told him that the McCain team supports domestic solutions to the oil crisis and is not willing to surrender in Iraq. She also made clear that the Democrats were largely responsible for the current economic crisis.
What I appreciated most? Her statement that the McCain team, as a team of mavericks, is “not gonna agree on everything.” I so much appreciate that McCain has given her the freedom to be who she is and neither of them are afraid of it.
For me, Sarah Palin has become our American Princess Di.
