I read alot of these letters and feel there are a lot of uneducated people voicing opinions that can’t use good ENGLISH that they should have learned back in grade school and they can VOTE on who RUNS the USA ??? WOW

To the View, MSNBC, Foxnews, etc. Please set the record straight regarding the voting count results of Prop 8 (gays wanting to change the definition of the word, marrriage.) MSNBC, Roseanne Bar,etc. are reporting to the world that 70% of Blacks voted “Yes” (one man, one woman marriage). Some of us understand that more white voters voted Yes than any other race. Nevertheless, this is America. We should not get upset when others use their free choice to vote. No one is trying to stop same sex couples from having sex with one another. If you are going to report percentages, at least, get it right.

Stephanie, I agree with you. And many of you on this blog. Go Whoopi!

I just caught some of the news. Someone just wrote to CNN about Palin. That someone was from the Mccain campaign. To some it up she is all about herself. I beleive the letter said that she doesn’t listen to anyone. This is coming from a Republican. And also there are Republicans who will be and who have voted for Obama instead of the McCain/palin tragedy.

She scares me to.
As someone reported on the news, the enemy is watching our news program.
I strongly feel that if the Republicans are elected we need to fear for our safety everyday. I also feel that Obama is a better speaker and probably a better negotiator.
I do not dislike President Bush, but I think he could have protected us better.
(The tragedy of the 9/11 and Hurrican Katrina, may they rest in peace, and my respect to the families)

We need a leader who will defend us. Not attack when they can’t have there way. I beleive Obama and Biden can defend us. Palin will destroy us. Her way or no way.

Whoopi – I can tell you put great thought into what you wrote. I agree with all of your points. I hope someday soon we will be able to say President-elect Obama and really give those right wing Conservatives something to talk about. I like this country and the freedom we have. Obama has no experience other than organizing. He is a layer and we know what that means, he is a good speaker and has alot of ties with radical people. McCain, I don’t have to say a thing about him. The whole world knows him. He is going to live as long as his mother and she is 93 years young. Obama’s smoke and could die of lung cancer,and Biden almost died from something to do with his brain. That could very well come back. So, that means if Obama is elected and he dies from lung cancer and Biden dies because he has no brain, oh hell that means the house speaker,what’s her name. BITCH could become president.. No I like the McCain and Palin ticket

Wow, it seems that the Palin supporters in this comment section are as nasty & viscous as she!

I have been a registered and active voter for almost 20 years now and I have been more frightened and disgusted in the past 8 years than I can ever remember.

I think I am more afraid of Palin that I am of W. She is a loon!

And, why is it that the best right-wing comment leavers can do is to call Obama a Muslim? Obviously, they still believe all Muslims are terrorists…and if they scream loud enough that is a Muslim, well, than I guess in some peoples minds he will become one.

You know, I keep hearing Palin is a Pentecostal snake handler…doesn’t that scare the crap out of you??? If we all scream it loud enough, will you listen and think it is true???

More importantly, I fear that McCain won’t make it through the presidency (I mean, he is 71 and has a history of malignant melanoma!) then we are left with her as Pres?! And they say Obama is inexperienced in Washington. WOW.

I am just in awe, as we have had to live through the past 8 years of the Bush fiasco, that people are still so snowed by the republican party (or still so afraid of being called a “liberal” – gasp) that they are willing to vote for this pair! Can we not learn???

God/Creator/Allah/Bhagavan/Buddha/and so on… help us all!

Congratulations Whoopi! I’m sure you thought you would sway many people with your attacks on Gov.
Palin. Where would poor Barack be without you and Oprah and the main stream media. I can’t believe you think it’s ethical that the N.Y. Times used the McCain’s 16 year daughter’s facebook connection to try to dig up dirt on her own mother,or that the Daily Kos would advertise the most disgusting t-shirts about Gov. Palin,or that the liberal blogs are attacking a regular citizen that just happened to ask a question the Obama campaign didn’t like,or that Sandra Bernhard said that Palin would get gang raped by blacks in Manhattan,there are too many hateful remarks to mention. I stay informed on the issues and read,watch and listen to many different media sources and I have never heard a conservative say anything like the vicious and hate filled comments that I have heard from the left. The way the majority of the co-hosts on the View treated John and Cindy McCain compared to the way they treated Barack and Michelle Obama was so mean spirited,unfair and unprofessional. The question Whoopi asked about slavery was shameful. I think she is smart enough to understand that our constitution is a living document which means that as our constitution reads today slavery has been abolished. I do wonder though if she realizes that it was the republican party that was the driving force to rid our country of slavery. Liberals are so hypocritical.

sarah palin is a very dangerous and scary woman. her attire and speech patterns are chosen to distract all of those around her away from her true nature. she is a human predator. she is a sociopath. 100%! for her to be in the position she is in at this time in american and world history is a terrible twist of fate. if the republicans get into office this term it is the end of the american dream. the world is watching in horror and humor as this woman gets more and more power.
