Winter Storm Hits Midwest

A second big winter storm has struck this week in the Midwest , more than a foot of snow has fallen in some states.Thousands of people are left with no electricity after the first storm slammed Oklahoma, Kansas and Missouri earlier in the week where 38 people died in traffic accidents.Associated Press reports:
Snow started falling early in the afternoon in Pittsburgh, accumulating to about an inch before tapering off by late afternoon. Rain and freezing rain were expected later.
“We’ll have little bit of everything before the night is over,” said Bill Drzal, a Weather Service meteorologist in Pittsburgh.
More than 200 flights were canceled because of the weather Saturday at Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport.
