“The Winter X Games will take place from January 22 through Jan .25, 2009 in Aspen/Snowmass, Colorado. There will be athletes from across the globe competing for medals and prize money in Skiing, Snowboard and Snowmobile and will air live on ESPN and ABC.

This six member band formed in 2000 out of Denver will be bringing their alternative rock and rap sounds to Aspen. FLOBOTS are well known for their hit song “Handlebars” . Their first full-length record, Flight with Tools (October 2007) debuted #1 on Twist and Shout’s best seller list.
PENNYWISE Saturday, January 24 – 5:30 p.m. – FREE
PENNYWISE, formed in Hermosa Beach, Cali in 1988, have released nine full-length albums including the most recent 2008 album Reason to Believe. Pennywise is expected to play songs like the well-known punk anthems “Bro Hymn,” and “The Western World.”
